Supersort is hosting a team selection competition and I have have borne in mind Meyer's extreme obstinacy and his pendant to select useless players ahead of performing ones. I have provisionally refistaered the following team - bearing in mind that some injured players may yet be available, In which event I will change my selections:-

There are at least three players I myself would not choose under ny circumstanes - namely Kirchner, Spies and Alberts, the reasons being as follows:-
* Kirchner has the worst performance record in Super 15 and should not be anywhere in the squad
* Spies - a Meyer favourite, but in reality a very under-performing player Built like Tarzan - play like Jane,
* Alberts - was really non-productive in the tests he played in in 2012. Was then injured and only srated playingagain in middle-May when he was poor. He does not seem to be matchfit
Ebersohn and Coetzee comes into the mix - because both De Villiers and Engelbrecht are injured and may be out of contention If any of De Villiers or Engelbrecht may feature if the can overcome their injuries. I would play Boths ahead of Spies all the time, Alberts should not play this test at all. He is just plain not up to standard at this stage. .
