Brumbies take first points this should be a tough derby game. I'm tipping brumbies but hope folau gets some action on the wing tonite...

Folau on rathbone.. Interesting matchup. Looks like brumbies out to 6nil lead...  By the way sharks and stormers next 2 games for brumbies...

9nil... Tahs discipline letting them down.

tahs biggest prob is 9/10 both from club rugby and really considering their bank balance tahs very poor choice of playmakers...

Brumbies go into halftime well ahead only downside injury to pocock but smith still got it... Put a big hit of Israel and number of turnovers. Brumbies still looking like the Aussie team to beat. Unlike kiwi teams there defence is rock solid...

Awsome display from a well coached side, not sure if they're the real deal yet, I prefer to think of them as work in progress.

Redsman

The Brumbies thus far has beaten the Reds, the Waratahs and the Rebels.   The question is - how strong is the opposition teams  they played against in reality.   Lets look at it from that perspective:-

*  The Reds are playing on-and-off games.    The win against the Hurricanes - another team with some serious problems - was the high point in their games this year.

*   The  Rebels is a team with iffy prospects- having beaten the Force and nothig else.  The Force was a disaster against the Kings and played quite well against the Bulls - but still not really up to scratch.

*    The Waratahs are just too poor to be considered as anything really problematic in the Australia Confrence,

What I am trying to drive at is that the teams opposing the Brumbies thus far has not really been the best around.   I am not sure about the Sharks though - I think it will be too hard a nut for them to crack.

Brumbies have a good shot of wining the Oz conference if nothing else. How good is the Brumbies depth. LAst season saw the Stormers knocked out by injuries. So many loosoes were injured it was almost unreal.

Anyhow hope Brumbies put up a good show - they are my adopted OZ team.

Given ou hakwa's present disappointment in the crusties I would adopt the crusties as my nz side in support  but that would be against the other firm principles I have. Hahahahahahha

Hakwa whats up with the crusties? To be honest they threw that game against the hapless hurricanes.

Ex Keo

The Brumbies scored four tries to comprehensively beat the Waratahs in Canberra.

The Brumbies won 35 – 6 after leading 21 – 6 at half time.

Jake White’s team continued their run of wins against Australian opposition with a dominant performance against the Waratahs. The result never looked in doubt as the Brumbies got off to a good start, scoring twice in the first half and keeping the Tahs tryless throughout the match.

The four try bonus point stretches the Brumbies ahead in the Australian conference, while leading the overall log as well, thanks to their early start in Super Rugby.

White will be happy with the result but will be concerned about the injury to David Pocock, who is suspected to have picked up a ACL injury in his knee. Scans will confirm he damage, but if the injury is severe, it will rule the loose forward out for up to 6 months. His replacement, George Smith, enjoyed three quarters of the match and came through without concern. He was as good as he was before he left the Brumbies, causing havoc at the breakdown.

Waratahs coach Michael Cheika will be furious as his team let the opposition ease into the match with three easy penalties, taking an early nine point lead.

The match was strewn with yellow cards, as the Brumbies started the second half with fourteen men after lock Sam Carter was given his walking orders after continuous infringements at the breakdowns. With ten minutes left in the match, each team lost a prop as both Ben Alexander and Benn Robinson got yellows for foul play.

The Brumbies now have a unique record running, with them yet to concede a point in the second half of a match in Super Rugby 2013.

The Brumbies now travel to South Africa to face the Sharks and the Stomers, while the Waratahs await the Cheetahs in Sydney.
