Not sure how this would work or if it's just a case of anything SA can do ... we can do better.
But diluting the Super XV is 'nt an improvement IMO. If it aint broke then don't fix it.
Lets hope common sense prevails in the end and the Super XV comp stays as it is.
The players' association is cautious about the possibility of a sixth New Zealand Super Rugby franchise.
SANZAR boss Greg Peters says there's been a move within the country for a sixth franchise to join the competition from 2016, when a new broadcast deal will be in place.
Players association boss Rob Nicol told Radio Sport's Brendan Telfer it may surprise many but their main concern is the integrity of Super Rugby.
"And that whatever the competition is it stacks up for fans, it stacks up for the quality of the rugby, and for the players and commercially.
"Otherwise eventually it all falls down, doesn't it? And that doesn't do the players anything."
While Greg Peters has assured South Africa they'll have a sixth franchise from 2016, Rob Nicol says nothing should be agreed to until everything else is agreed.
