You rate Pollard's performance so far as being better than both Willemse and Du Preez? How about Jantjies?
Wiese had a cracker of a match last weekend ... but not the match before that. Mostert deserves a fair shot, Mike. I can see you don't like him at all.
De Jager and Snyman had great matches against the Canes but last weekend they were poor in comparison to Schickerling.
Mabuza has been on fire so far. Nkosi is probably the better of the two but so far he;s been rather ordinary.
Also ... Brink has tried his best but I would have gone with Philip vd Walt on the blindside.
There is no need to make any changes, Mike ... I'm just throwing my bit in.
Oh ... you seem to have overlooked Mapoe. He's scored a few tries and is on form so far. A much better option than De Allende.

It is not a question of liking or not. In the case of Wiese he had a good game against the Jaguares did not play in the game against the Waratahs and an absolute blinder against the Crusaders, Mostert played one game as a 7 and was really not good enough to warrant automatic selection based on reputation at this stage, He has every chance to improve - but he has a long way to go in that regard. I think that I would put Mostert on the bench rather than Brink.
I will change De Allende to Mapoe as mentioned by you,
I am afraid Janjies is not in my first three for Springbok selection anyway Willemse had a very good game against the Highlanders today and may have put some further distance between him and Jantjies as a result,

Not only did Mostert have a fantastic match on the blindside, his work rate far exceeding Wiese's, but he cleaned up in the line out too. He was everywhere ... and then some.
Wiese is a talent no doubt, but a single match where he stood out in a losing team doesn't warrant his immediate selection.
Your prejudice against Mostert has blinded you.
I suppose we'll see De Allende taking up his regular spot in your teams ... along with Lood.

If Mostert's work rate was higher and better than Wiese's he would have been the Sanzaar Player of the Week - he was not even close and that is fact. His tackle count was not half of Wiese and his ball caries was not very good either,
I gave you the factual position and no amount of hype is going to change that one. We will see how Mostert goes in his second match as a 7.
I do not select anyone - I suggest some players and change them when members suggest otherwise. Please note you suggested I brig in Mapoe ahead of De Allende on the bench and I changed it.

It's just pretty obvious that Jantjies has been the best and was the best last weekend easily.
As soon as someone outperforms him consistently I'll happily switch.

Thought Marais has been solid while the two younger guys have been a tad inconsistent.
