Hard to make too many changes. Serfontein did well enough to get another start, especially in the absence of Jean and Frans. Among the back reserves I'd give Boshoff a chance...Goosen shouldn't be rushed back. JP is struggling at 13, but there are no credible alternatives.

It's hard to see the Beast getting his berth back after Steenkamp did so well. It's tempting to give Jannie a rest but can we trust Coenie...not after the Worlds disaster. At lock Lood did well enough to start if Bakkies is not fully fit....or we could start Flip who is our most powerful player.

The loosies were superb....Alberts was massive in wresting away control of contact. I actually thought Schalk was a bit off the pace, but in other matches he has been great.

I'd lose Brits in a heartbeat.

Balls - why should Bakkies Botha start?  He has now played in three tests since 2013 for the Springboks.  He was sub-par in the Scottish test, he was average in the Paris test and he was invisible in the test on Saturday.   I would say that Meyer should start with De Jager and put Flippie on the bench.
I doubt whether Flippie is our most powerful player - he is defibnitely more powerful than Matfield - but ie he more powerful than De Jager?
Alberts?  He was not massive at all - he carried the ball 10 times for a meter gain of 9 meters.  What are you talking about?   Wrestling the ball in contact?   Imagining things again.   Was standing around behind mauls again and let the loosies for the work which he should have done.    Unfortunately the other players at 7 are injured and not in the squad and Burger was not up to standard.  The FATSO have no real competition at this stage - time for him to go asap.
