Pity about EW Viljoen being injured - he was good against the Lions till going of with an injury.   WP has also amade a mistake with putting Kobus van Wykk on the bench - he is by a distance their best loosie.

Seems you've decided not to comment on anything he says here either.

How DO you do it???

So Akker leaves the Lions because he wanted more game time ... only to find himself back on the bench.

Puzzling??

What's puzzling, Klown? Being on the bench for a team like the Sharks is still a step up from a starting spot for a team like the Lions.

CC
I think that the reason for the departure of Akker is that he was playing second fiddle to Marx and even then he does not get all the bench selections either - there was a number of cases in Super Rugby where the latter was selected ahead of him.
He unfortunately decided  to go to the Sharks - where Marais is the first choice hooker and that will not change.
I think he should have gone to WP or the Bulls  - but the case may be here that the quota system reigns supreme in the case of WP.

LOL!!! That's nasty, Redneck!!

You guys had a good CC ... we'll see if you can keep the momentum going in the SR next year.

We're going to have Matfield's finger prints all over us next season. To my mind that means that the "spangees" is on it's way out.

Good luck for tomorrow.

Go Sharks!!!

Thanks Klown. I'm not wildly confident about tomorrow's game but I'm hoping the Sharks can do it!

Really?

I'm looking forward to the clash upfront. I think your pack will dominate and you guys definitely have the better back row. Acker coming on in the last 20 - 30 minutes will up the tempo, that's for sure.

We've all seen an upward turn in the Sharks camp. They're playing with a lot more confidence.

Pity about Nkosi.

I think it's actually an easy match for you. You should take it by 8pts.

Gooooooooooooooooooo Sharksssssssssssssssssssss!!!

I am rooting for the Sharks tomorrow. Mostly because Beans is a WP supporter, so I really have no choice in the matter! Just kidding Beans, I am not supporting the Sharks just because of you...its because of you and all WP supporters!!!

Perfectly understandable. WP are like Man Utd in football, you despise them not because of the team but because their supporters are - almost without exception - complete and utter arseholes.

Actually....regardless of who WP plays supporters of teams not represented tend to support the other team. Probably in part an envy thing.

Bluebok not supporting the Mighty WP should be rated a crime against Rugby!!!!!
What is very annoying is that Eben, Du Toit and Kolisi are not in the match squad. This is absurd! The pack needs the added grunt especially as Coetzee is not playing.

Bollocks Beano, they've bigger fish to fry on the EOYT ....... NZers are enjoying a finals w/end as well & I know    that none of the current ABs are involved. Allow the players who are responsible for their teams being in the final the honour of playing in that final .
