The fact that Steyn is out and that Kirchner is unlikely to play - will mean that De Villiers will remain at 12 and Taute at 13.   I looked at the game again and there is no reason for replacement of Taute in the team,   He made some errors  (2 knock-ons) in the game - but his attacking play was good and defence excellent.   The absence of Frans is therefore not a problem insofar as yeam selection is concerned.   His absence will not weaken the team - it will in fact have no problematic impact.

Thus the only real problem would be bench selection.   De Jongh is to my mind not the answer - he fluffed the one try scoring opportunity he had on Satrurday and showed nothing whilst on the field..   I would much rather use the absence of Steyn to call up Jordaan.   He has a much wider range of positions he can play in and he could be the answer as a talented bench player.   He can cover both center positions - as well as wing..    And he is in form.  His main asset is in fact his speed.   If he was around that missed try of De Jong would have been scored - since he would have been in line to receive the ball long before D Jongh turned up.

It is obvious that Lambie will take over as full back and that to my mind would mean an improvement in the team,   Although I still have a problem with Jantjies defence - he missed a tackle in the few minutes he was on on Saturday and the All Blacks will really exploit his weakness in that regard - I believe he will remain on the bench.   But I suppose there is no real other altenative.   I would put Jordaan on the bench and perhaps call up Le Roux and place him on the bench as well.  The latter player has been outstanding and he has massive ball sense as well.

The forwards can remain the same.
