There are some competitions - like the score predictor and Fantasy selectiobns ibn which some members participate.    The other issueis that it opens up discussions on team selection - etc
I hope I have answered your comments above.

 not really.
seems like a pointless excercise until at least one team is announced.

But good on you for being such a steller gentleman Mike.

A number of members try and find teams - not only me.  They would then add the team to this thread if not registered already - hence the starting of the thread.

Good to see the Scud missile is back playing for the ABs, I hope he's ready. There are other players selected that will have to step up, e.g. ALB, Lualala will have to show he can be consistent at this level, McKenzie has to show he can balance risk and reward better; Fafita has been give a big chance; and I look forward to seeing Laumape come on as a replacement when the Argies are tiring. SBW has something to prove as well & let's see how it goes with Savea as the starter & Cane on the bench.

I see JW has wrecked the margins again. JW, just edit your post and delete the content and in future whenever you paste, paste it first into MS Word or an e-mail or something like that using the "Paste Special" option where you select "Unformatted Text", then copy that unformatted version and paste that.

Common JW.

Didn't you offer up some advice on how to g o it ... blah, blah, blah??

Do you think that this example of yours is one I should follow ... or would it be best I avoid any copying and pasting advice from you in the future.

This isn't inspiring me, JW.

Tb\here are some selections in the SA team I do not like.   Those are  in the main Rhule and the center pairing - as well as the loosies.
There was also a report that Pollard will be selected on the bench basically to cover both the center and flyhalf positions.   That to my mind would have been extremely dangerous since he played virtually no rugby for the past 18 months.  Furthermore he was coached into being poor when he did play.
Pollard will have to undergo a re-education programme before he will be useful again.  The better option was in fact taken - put him on the bench and let De Allende cover the center and wing positions from the bench.
Not a good enough option though - the starting centers are not deserving selection and a different center pairing would have improved the team.
I have a feeling that if the away tests result in a disaster for SA the changes required - like selection of Combrinck on the wing and the selection of Van Rensburg/Vorster in the squad would no doubt happen.   I also think it would result in the call-up of Coetzee in the loosie combination.
The other issue that I am not happy about is the loosies and I am sorry for Mostert.   The latter ia a hard worker but physically not competitive enough.
My Superbru forecast is that the team will lose against Australia by about 6 points and against the AB's by about 25 points.

Pollard really looks to have beefed up, looks to have put on at least 5/10kgs, wonder if he's thinking about the 12 jersey long term.

 APD
What he is thinking and what he produces are two entirely different issues,   If he produces the goods he should be considered for selection - otherwise not,

Thanks JW.
You are the first poster on this board that I know of who has ever gone back and edited a post that screwed up the margins.
I can think of several occasions when I've asked the likes of Moffie, Dumb Ass, Sonny Bill (let's pretend for a sec that's someone other than Dumb Ass) and even ou Maaik to please edit their posts or remove some of the "hahahahaha's" from their feigned laughter, but you are honestly the first poster I can recall who's ever had the courtesy to edit his post that had previously screwed up the margins.
Thanks!
