At last.

I'm not sure whether Redsneck will be here to help ... so I'll step in and help as best I can.

Thank you - CC.- you are a gentleman and a scholar.

To get teams in two matches is relatively easy - it gets more complicated when 5 matches are played in a round.   Your help will be sincerely appreciated,

Lions updated

I cannot see why Rohan is not playing.   The best center combination for th e Lions are Van Rensburg and Vorster, but I suppose quotas played a role here.

He's on the bench.

There was talk earlier that Mapoe may be pushed to wing.  Rohan is a class act and will undoubtedly be starting at 12 within the next match or so.

I'm not sure whether he has a bit of a niggle. Can't see any other reason for him not to have made the run on side.

Gooooooooooo Lionssssssssssss!!!!

I see they have Beast covering the tighthead side . Must be an error.

I am not happy about the Stormers Outside backs and with De Allende.   He has not shown any form for he last two years and needs to start playing rugby or get a foreign club contract.

As to the wings and full back - they are defensive leaks and the opponents must be licking their lips abou t running at them.

RJvR last season played the finals from the bench also,.... so I dunno if now it's because of any minor niggle or injury,... or it's that the coach want him there,... if it's the latest, a big mistake IMO,.... no other backline player can offer what RJvR offers on attack,... yeah, he should improve his defensive skills but Mapoe is even worst defending,... he's a disaster on defense and is nowhere near RJvR on attack

what I find really strange is that the Lions have no backup on the bench for the scrumhalf Cronjé nor for the flyhalf,... there are only 2 centers on the bench ,.... A. Coetzee could play at flyhalf if Jantjes get injured but who's gonna play at 9 if Cronjé get injured?

ABF

It always is a pleasure to read your comments on rugby issues,   Yes it is strange 0 maybe the coach think he can use Kwagga Smith as scrummie id the latter get injured,

Thanks ABF

I have updated the Jaguares.

I think the Lions bench scrummie is no 21 in the teamsheet.  Know nothing a bout the player.

I think he's a backrower, mike,.... and for what I've been reading in some articles and comments over there, a very promising loosie,... though I've never seen him playing

anyway, I'm gonna check it

I am not sure the Lions are going to be the same force they have been past two seasons. They have a new coach. They well play well sure. But they are beatable. They have to travel to NZ too, so well see.

FYI Canes have named their squad for their opening two games in Pretoria and Argentina. IF you have Beuadan as your fly half in fantasy. Heads up he well miss the opening game for the Canes againgst the Bulls. Because he well be at a Wedding LOL. Jordie also misses the first three games of the comp. He well be due back March tenth againgst the Crusaders.
