Update on Cane from NZ Herald

If I get through a couple of tough sessions today I'll hop on a flight tomorrow," he added.

Cane says if he does travel he won't play the Stormers this weekend, but will be available for their match against the Cheetahs.

Cane killed my Foxsport selection last Round - even had him as Captain - the iffy bugger should stay at home.   He would suffer another injury - even against the Cheetahs,

Yeah my whole OB trio is from the same game Cheifs Stormers lol. D Mckenzie, E Viljoen, S Stevenson. Given they are selected. I have an all new back row trio this we. I have managed to bench Ardie without trading him out. I benched Julian too. Brought Jordie in.

Backrow: A Ioane, M Hooper. S Higgonbotham

Like your team - but would not go to heavy on the Chiefs.   Please note - the Cheetahs is on a bye and Nche will not play.  Will Ioane start at loosie?
I have not looked yet - but am pretty sure against the Sunwolves I would play Pollard,  May be wrong - but that may be wise.

Yeah unfortunately I have only four trades. And 3 of my trades have to go on the back row. As they all have byes. You would think Umaga starts Ioane at loosie this WE. I would pick Pollard, but don't have the trades too. Barrett should score well againgst the Tahs though. I have no choice but to pick those Chiefs.

 Luke
I have Pollard and Cruden as flyhalfs - and I have problems at center with both Havili and Van Rensburg on byes.   Also in the backrow - with Prinseep on my bench.   I may retain Prinseep and start with him - since he is in the starting line-up for the Hurricanes.
At this stage my squad is as follows - with the changes being highlighted:-
PR   -   Malherbe, Schoeman, LouwHO   -   Marx, Visagie LO   -   Du Toit, Whitelock, De JagerBR   -   Cane, Hunt, Kriel, PrinseepSC   -   Perenara, ReinachFH   -   Pollard, CrudenCE   -   Du Plessis, Van Rrensburg, HaviliOB  -    Tuculet, Viljoen, Duffie, Tambwe The Highlighted players are not going to be in the teams this weekend as they are on byes and or injured.  I will likely bench Marx and bring in Elliiot.   Will bench Kiel and bring in at least one loosie to replace Cane.
The interesting matches this weekend are -
*   The Stormers-Chiefs game;*   The Waratahs-Hurricanes game; and*    The Sharks- Jaguares Game
Not sure about the Hurricanes game at all - they left out four of their best payers - but should still be able to beat the Waratahs.
In the case of the Stormers their two youngsters at center will have a hard grind against the Chiefs - but am still sticking with them.   Peyper will be the ref and the Chiefs will not get away with instances like happened in the Bulls game.

Pablo Matera doesn't show up in the Jags team on Fox sports so he can't be chosen, weird. I picked him & then reversed several trades but when I went back to Fox he was gone.

Yeah JW. Fox Sports has an issue with that. Some players won't show up. Based on the order of the players you transfer out. Just try reversing it. And do it again. Matera should show up.
I am having selection issues of my own. I have like 5 or so players out. So basically looks like only got one lock and one prop playing this WE. So I can have a full back row, two centres, and a full OB. I was thinking Bosh from the Sharks, as he is categorized as OB. But is playing flyhalf for the Sharks. But still not sure.

I am in hot water myself.  My team looks like the following:-
PR  -   Louw, Malherbe  HO  -  ElliotLO  -   Du Toit, BirdOB -    Matera, Hunt, PrinsepSH -     PerenaraFH -     CrudenCE -     Du Plessis, MoalaOB -     Tuculet, Duffie, Viljoen
Am unhappy with Elliot - he s always a card candidate - as well as the center youngsters from the Stormers coming up against experienced centers.   And  am stuck with Prinsep who has not shown much this year.

I could not find the Force team - not even on their Website, but will try again.
Nothing yet - so I may pick that one up before closing time.   Think Haylett-Petty will play this week.
Both the Kings and the Force are bad teams - but the Force should win this one easily.
