15   Gianni Lombard , 14  Tyrone Green, 13   Manuel Rass, 12  Lyle Hendricks, 11   Wandisile Simelane, 10     Lubabalo Dobela, 9   Zak Burger, 8  Muller Uys,  7  PJ Steenkamp, 6   Dian Schoonees, 5   Ruan Vermaak, 4  Salmaan Moerat (c), 3  Asenathi Ntlabakanye, 2   Schalk Erasmus, 1  Nathan McBeth

Replacements  :  16   Tiaan van der Merwe, 17   Alulutho Tshakweni, 18  Sazi Sandi, 19  Ruan Nortje. 20   Ben-Jason Dixon, 21   Rewan Kruger, 22   David Coetzer. 23   Sihle Njezula

With their best two players – Willemse and Muller du Plessis out with injury and without a reliable goal kicker, I  in fact have doubts about the team beating  the French.    The latter issue is important,   The Juniors scored five tries against Ireland - but they could only convert one.  They also ,missed a penalty  goal.   That in toal repreents 11 extra points they could have had..

Keep the faith Maaik. We gonna bring it home regardless of our fatty front row. Our backline isn't that bad and the forwards seem to cope. Go Bokkies!

...Wondisile Sinsemilla looks like he's having a good tournament for the Junior Boks...A centre that knows how to score a try , four already this tournament and can step...maybe they could fast track him in to replace Frans Steyn who is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike..

...the word is Sinsemilla is very good gunja by SA standards ... Pienaar at HB would also be dope - all the backs could just go sit in the stands cos BOXKICKING WINS GAMES

I see the belittled Georgia is leading Ireland 24 to 8 after 76, as Ireland scores to make it 24. -15 with a minute to go.

SA go down to France 46 - 29 after being behind 36-0. At some stage in the first half they've missed 28 tackles. Came back well in the second, but the French did the damage in the first half.

No doubt Draad, but it's a bit disconcerting....Tokkie was telling us we have a great team and you were guaranteeing victory. And all we get is a second half 'come back' after the Frogs lost interest.

When I saw the team I said I do not think they could win the match  and said clearly/  This was weird - after winning two matches the coach made six changes to the team.  Two was injury enforced - why the  other two changes?

The team went backwards in scrums and they ran through the backline as if there was no defense.

Even though I said it was a GOOD team before the series started - I never wrote a great team as our local liar stated above - I based my comments on the Matches they played in the UK before the series started and did not foresee the injuries to their two best players and the weird team changes made today.

Anyway -  they are playing against England in the semi-final - but I cannot see how they can  win that one,

What are you talking about? I support my teams. I never boast and rarely make predictions.

The fact is that the team yesterday had still no kicker at goal in the team - 5 tries scored and 520  converted and one penalty kick at goal missed as well.
The quota flyhalf was useless - they ran through him every time and the inside center was another disaster in defense.     That cost the team at least 21 points.   In the UK tour they had om the absence  of Willemse a white guy at flyhalf - but when Willemse came on board he was dropped from the squad.   He was recalled to the team - but only arrived on France on Tuesday and when the two small duds was replaced the French try scoring spree ended,
I am afraid this is exactly what we can expect tomorrow from the SA team as well with Rassie's quota team .

Thought there would be a fallout ,you build a team around one flyhalf, place another one from totally different league and then put in a timid one in for the quarter final.Italy nearly made it to the semi .

The Aussie ,NZ game was great to watch.Aussie nearly won it through the scrums and their kicking was sublime.Plummer for NZ steadied the ship and pulled them through, how important is a cool flyhalf! Some injuries for NZ too, going to have to sort their scrum out for the semi against France.

Embarassing game.

Instrumental players for France were 1,3,7,8,10. The make up is embarassing for SA.

It goes without saying that all white SA side would have won by 100 that game, but the direct comparison to SA quota players allowed during this game once more exposed SA rugby. Denial is extremelly taxing.

Not even one single decent quota player.  SA have not trained one. Had they trained a few up to the standards shown by the opposite non white player side, the comedy of the quota stuff to hide the shortcomings would be unneeded..

Bad thing is that strangely enough, that french side concentrated their non white players in the forwards. Pretty bad stuff.

EN will demand less effort to deny as non white players seem to be in the back lines.

No words on SA gameplan for people who dare to name it like that, antiquated, inadaptated, an overcharge.

Forgot to tell another source for embarassment.

It took some time to determine which was the african team, the make up did not help.

Then, the key rule kicked in: if there is at least one decent non white player, it cant be the SA side.

A rule to keep in mind for the game against EN.

SH championship will be a relief, involved teams do not cause such confusion.
