In ranked order with number 1 as your leading myth.

10...Paul Jordaantjie

9...Marcel van der Merwe joke

8...Not Chris Koch

7...Elton Janties

6...Pieter Stephanie du Toit

5... Jak-ou Taute

4....Jan Stepfontein

3... Koobus Raainacht

2... JJ Englebrecht

1....Johan Goosen

What do all these flops, who have beguiled and misled fans have in common.....they were outed early and definitively by moz. I took much abuse in the process, but now only one myth, Stephanie, is at the WC.....it's a little bit of sentimentality HM has allowed the rugby nation. The rest are gone in the dustbin of test history.

So lets see ....which of the Barking Dogs gets the bone. It's hard to judge Carbuncle. He may not have supported all these guys, but then you have to add in massive flops like Whiteley and Maakniks who he heavily punted. Lets leave him aside.

Dave gets an almost clean sheet. But he was with me on Jordaan and not really a Koch supporter. He gets 8 out of 10.

But the Pervert goes him one better....he supported every player on the list except Jantjies. E ven if I suspect his JJ suppport was more of his obsessive anti moz stand. Still it costs him.

Our winning barking dog is Pervie who avidly supported 9 of the 10 flops. Way to go Einstein!

Disagree on the first 6, they will be among the best. The next 4 are dubious....F du Preez because we havent seen him in action...he has to be a question mark.

So your case rests on three choices. Brits wont play barring injury. Mvovo wont front against the best wings and Kirchner is a robotic player who cant taclkle for toffee. I agree he shouldn't be there. But that has always been my position on those three. You were huge supporters of each of them. Why the change?

Whether you agree or not is of no consequence given how pathetic your calls have been all year......the same calls that our esteemed coach has been making, the one that has had us win 5 of our last 13 tests against the major nations (2 of which were against the Argies) and slipping to 5 in the rankings. A fact you conveniently choose to ignore every time it is brought up - I wonder why that is......exposing your faith in such losers no doubt.....better to ignore than have to deal with this sorry excuse of a record?

Good to see you have the results to back up your 6 amongst the best.......bwhaaahaaaaaa.......the joke is on you and Meyer......I am not sure which one of you are more rugby ignorant.....time will tell though.

Moz you seem a little thick and I say this with due respect.....I was a huge fan of all the players on that list except the utterly useless Morne............the buzz word being WAS

These clowns are no longer the 5th best in their respective positions......you get my point now? I suspect NOT

Mozart is always the same - he refuses to see how the players he supports flops in games and then blame others for defeats in tests.   If he cannot find any reason he lies about circumstances so as to get a point across.   A hopeless case of living in the past and not prepared to adjust.

Not Chris Kock...agreed. Myth as quality no.3? I beg to differ. Way too soon to tell. Wonder who you will punt when Jannie retires after the RWC. As props go, Vincent is still a rook. The way you are writing off young players, by the next RWC we will have an average age of 35. What's your tipping point?

Not at all....I write off young players who show a fatal flaw when exposed at higher levels. I punted Kriel, Pollard and Etzebeth.

That's the point Draad it's damn hard to find test quality players and when you find them, be damn sure you have something better before you drop them.

I'm not at all against young players just young players like the Hyped 10 who had every chance and failed. None of them will be regular Boks....count on it.

Bullshit Moz you are against the young players and keep punting the washed up hasbeens

Imagine preferring Matfield aged 38 over Willemse, PSDT, Lood and Jacques du Plessis......its insulting

Hell add Jean Kleyn, Ruan Botha, Lewies, Carl Wegner, Mostert, Jason Jenkins and RG Snyman.....who are all better locks than old Vic these days.

Hell Vic could not even pass himself off as a light openside flanker these days.....that's how pathetic he is in contact, be it with ball in hand or defensively.

A test side does not need an old fairy passing as a lock....its a joke......but hey ho Vic will take his line-out ball, make the odd open field tackle and join the line as a link player.....just what we need from a test lock in NH conditions.

Hell the list is endless......same can be said of Jean ahead of a host of classy young centres

Your strength is backing losers, the ones that have just won us 5 from our last 13

That is FIVE from our last THIRTEEN

Won us 6 of our last 13 old chap....and you dishonesly excluded 4 wins preceding that in the same year....10 of our last 17 is a fairer stat. Not good but better than you suggest....and who lost us those 6 games:

1) Oz away in 14....Morne

2) NZ away in 14....Hougaard and Lomp

3) Ireland....Hougaard

4) Wales....Lambie, Reinach and Hougaard

5) Oz in 15..... Lomp and Allende

6) NZ in 15...the pack as whole

7) Bargie in RSA....Koch

He certainly backed losers Lambie, Reinacht, Hougaard and Lomp. Fortunately we have already discarded Commanders in Confusion Raainacht and Hougaard

 Balls about most
2 The flop was Matfield in not being able to take line-out  set up a drive.  Objective to take penalty to the corner.  Matfield flop big time.
3  Our Tight 5 forwards folded badly in that test putting the Springboks u8nder pressure
4  Same as 3
5  Lies, lies and lies again.  The whole team went flat in the last 15 minutes.  Pienaar was pathetic - really pathetic.  Van der Merwe was the real failure when coming off the bench.
6  Pienaar was pathetic
7  Koch was poor - but whole team play without any spirit - looked tired due to over-coaching the previous week.
Not discarded, they are on call-up in the inevitable case of Du Preez failing as a result of injury.  What Meyer expects from Du Preez and Pienaar after the former has not played real rugby for 14 months - Pienaar was pathetic in the tests he played in this year.   Comedy show expected.

Ah of course, it was down to the young guys......bwhaaahaaaa

You could not script it any better Moz......let me guess our early exit this WC will be down to Willie, de Allende, Kriel, Pollard or Etzebeth.......the only youngsters who will make the useless Bok starting line-up......but count on one of de Allende or Kriel being excluded for useless Jean.

I don't give a toss about the previous games, I am only interested in our recent record under useless Meyer........we have won FIVE of our last THIRTEEN under Meyer......that is as insulting a record as ever.

The issue with the Boks under useless Meyer is selections like Kirchner, Mvovo, Hendricks, Fourie, Jean, Olivier, Morne, du Preez, Pienaar, Steenkamp, Heinke v/d Merwe, Brits, Jannie, Matfield, Louw, Alberts and Smith.......if you cant see that you are more rugby ignorant than I know you are.

Hell these names did us proud some 5 years ago......why on earth would anyone still think they have the goods?

Hell the likes of JP, Habana, Beast and Schalk are hanging on by a thread and hardly constitute the best in their respective positions.

We are in the crap because Meyer is utterly useless. His selections are amongst the worst we have seen from any Bok coach since readmission.

I cant wait for your lame excuses post WC

Saff, Divvy was worse than Meyer! Meyer may lack the balls to shift away from his overly conservative history, but he still seems to be working according to a plan. Even if we think it is a stupid one! P Div on the other hand never seemed to have any plan what so ever!

I actually think in terms of selection Meyer is even worse than PDV.......and boy that takes some doing.

All I pray for is that Meyer gets the boot post WC

Give the job to Ackerman and Swys de Bruin of the Lions  I say

Meyer is absolutely addicted to players he is familiar with or those he saw playing rugby a decade ago.   That is clear in the squad selection for the WC.   That approach does not take into account present performance at all.  If the issue of performance was a norm - then how did he manage to select player like for instance Albert and du Preez?
Alberts did not play a half-decent game for the Springboks and Sharks for years and he has cost the Springboks dearly in matches he played in.   Su Preez has not have a game on any decent level for 14 months after he was dead average in the June 2014 tests He has had a very poor injury record since 2011 with minimal games played in the period since then.
If Bakkies Botha and Steenkamp did not decide to retire from international rugby n- they would have been in the WC squad and Meyer licked Jacque Fourie's backside white to come back after he announced his retirement from international rugby and Meyer selected him in his training squad, but he turned up in such bad physical condition at the June training camp that Meyer was forced to accept the advice of the appropriate staff to let him go back to Japan - otherwise he would also have been in the squad.
Meyer is the sole reason why we are in hot water in the 2015 WC and I am sure the poor selections of has-beens and never-has-beens is going to cost us dearly.

I was far more in favour of our 2007 squad compared to the useless squad Meyer has come up with.....hell there are 14 players 30 years and over in it, with 4 others turning 30 shortly......its a joke.

I had a massive issue with Jake White as he was also useless, but granted.....he was better than Meyer.

White only had a few poor selections unlike Meyer with more than 50% of his squad being anything but merit selections.

Its a fact that we had an easy route to the final in 2007 and I have always said, White relied on the assistance of Eddie Jones and a great squad to win the WC.

Yes, because no other Bok team has had players that shouldn't have been there. /sarcasm
This forum's name seems incorrect. Or "We hate Heyneke" has been spelt wrong.

ho hum grow up. Nobody hates Meyer but his putting together of this RWC squad has not been up to scratch. How much he has been derailed by quotas is a question though. His continuous selection of Pienaar at scrummie in the last series shows how poorly he plans at times. No thinking people realis e it has not been good. Nevertheless we live in hope. Meyer must now at least get hs match 23 right.

You're the one being a child here. Insults will get you nowhere.
And no selections you can make would have made this team beat the All Blacks all of a sudden.
Again, he's not picking the side to please you, he's trying to win a world cup. He's done as well as he or any other coach could or would in his position.
Pienaar knows the conditions up there better than most. It's a sensible pick, especially if you have to ease du Preez back.
