Bloody good player. Some massive carries and a calm head under some pressurised restart kicks. He also held the fought as the only loose forward for 10 mins (although Mikey will say he did so for 63 mins as Alberts is not a loosie;-) but this guy is massive and strong with great hands and a calm head.

Everytime I have seen him live here in NZL he has been a standout. He should be a regular! Screw Deysel now! He is off anyway!

I've only seen him play once just before he got injured, think he played in the #8 jumper. I was impressed, looked a natural in the role.....wish I'd watched the game, but yes I believe he's one for the future.

I watched him live at 8 in Hamilton vs the Chiefs last year. We went down 24-0 after like 20 mins. We clawed our way back to 24-19 at half time. Sharks were decimated by injuries and Tera slotted in at 8. He was huge in that game. A definite stand out.
He is so strong and makes good decisions!

Look - I like Mtembu and mentioned him earlier as a standout player.   For me he is a very valuable number 8 - where I saw him playing myself.  Other than Mtembu - the Sharks loosies were BS.  Deysel a dimwit and Alberts a low level performer whose main role was to fill out the teamsheet.   He is sleep walking through games.
I would say that the Sharks loosies would be more effective with Coetzee at 6, Mtembu at 8 and then to dins another real loosie to be at 7.  Hope Coetzee is ready for the play-offs.
One other thing that struck me was the easy way the Cheetahs handled the Brumbies - scoring two tries in the process and that with the absence of some of their top performers - while the Sharks struggled badly against them.

That black 7 for the Cheetahs also looks a good one.
Deysel I think if off to Japan. That means he will probably still play Super 16 next year.He has been playing well.
