So in case some of you missed it...there was test match rugby this weekend.
Strangely, the post with the most response this weekend is yet another back and forth bitc.h fest between the same old group of posters.
Don't really care if I'm painting a target on my back here but...
Maybe it's time you guys realise that nobody gives crap about who wronged who and how far your grudges go back. WE DONT CARE!
In case you haven't noticed maybe someone needs to spell it out for you lot. YOURE TURNING THIS BOARD INTO A HOLE IN THE GROUND.
In no particular order...Seb, Rooi, Moz, Mike, Denny, Cera and others, give it a bloody rest will you.
Maybe it's time that rest of us, those who aren't perpetually involved in some childish spat start boycotting this board untiluntil such time as it's frequenters get some perspective.
Get the hell over yourselves.

Lol Mr Plum...Seb bears absolutely zero grudges against anybody...I might be outspoken and call a spade a spade and strongly disagree and am put off by coarse and childish behaviour and ugly insults by it's like water off a ducks back when directed at Seb...I don't have a fragile ego like some here do.

Plum, my approach is to accept that this board serves different needs.
Some posters like to do what you describe. Some stick to rugby. But even the posters who are involved in spats occasionally de cide to post some very good rugby observation, opinions, etc.
I enjoy your posts, ABFs, the kiwis in general and just put up with the venting the other posters engage in most of the time. I like this board more than any others so I am willing to put up with the crap.

Only trouble is Plum I recall your spats with Basque and others....it's easy to get sucked into these spats. I refuse to be called a liar and have my family dragged onto the Board without responding....if that bothers you, so be it.

No Moz, I wouldn't accept it.
It's hard for me to understand why this has to spread to every thread though.
Seems to me there is the spat with Rooi and then the one with CleverMike. To my knowledge CleverMike hasn't attacked your family. Maybe that one is the easiest to "bury the hatchet" on - so to speak. Lately you both are ignoring each other rather effectively but we lose the rugby discussion - although most of us could predict what each of you would say
Who will be the first to show he's the mature one, Rooi or Mozart. I'm sure one will step forward any minute.
One must remain optimistic

So Plum, you don't mind UrineRooi snooping my social media accounts and for that matter Mozart's and then posting the personal details on a rugby website but you strongly object to the ongoing scenario it provokes.
Did you expect me to turn a blind eye? Is that what you would do? I don't believe you would not going by your attitude to The Tradionalist or Basque.
Tell you what and anyone else who thinks we should let this go, here's a wee challenge, post under your real name, when someday you get into a spat with UrineRooi, sit back and turn a blind eye when he trawls your social media accounts and posts your personal details on here.

Denny, there's disagreeing with people and then there is ruining a perfectly good board. Nobody is saying we all have to agree, or even be nice to each other. But it's now at the point where all of this far outweighs anything else.
Surely there is a line somewhere.

Here's the way to get a good Board. Set some standards that posters accept and police them. Don't sit there all google eyed, come down on the offender. It's obvious who the offender is here it's the guy who posts other posters' personal details. If history is any guide he will either toe the line or leave for a while as he did when the Board censured him for using the delete feature to eliminate a legitimate poster. ... It's not always a 50/50 proposition....if a poster goes rogue the Board has to stand up for it's values or become an embarrassing mess.

Good try. But it won't work, the only thing that's acceptable or so it appears is that posters don't care whether our families are slagged off, our social media sites are trawled and our personal information is broadcast on the forum as long as it's not theirs.
Plum says it right here "WE DONT CARE!"
That's the difference, you and I CARE about our families and our personal details being divulged in an open arena.....no-one else does.
So, my question is....if "WE DONT CARE!"....why on earth do you bother to read the posts?

Well we are on here for fun....but unfortunately given human nature things tend to turn sour. And if a poster can vent his vitriol without censure on here you get posts like this from Cleancut today: .. Kolisi is a chump. A quota chump that has the coach's eye because of skin colour. Both Cloete and Jaco Kriel are VAAAAAAAAAAAAASTLY superior openside flankers than this second rate blindsider. Cassiem is a joke. Just another second rate darkie used to get the colour mix right. It's a damn shame that we're forced to endure this racist behaviour. .... We have to impose some values on our affairs or accept that this kind of bigotry or settling our arguments by recourse to posters' families is business as usual. Wishing we can avoid conflict is not the answer, argument is the life blood of these Boards. Instead we should insist that families and race be kept out of it...arguments should be decided on the merits.

I don't know the Blackboy you speak of and he has no relevance to me or the issues at stake. I do not ask for support from anyone but I hedge when someone tells me he does not care whether my late beloved parents are being slagged off and that all he cares about is the state of the board. JW has given his opinion, I did not ask for it but by the same token I respect it.
G'onya when you say you'll defend your family to the death......it's exactly what Moz and I are doing and it's exactly what any half decent person would do.
I have picked my battle and I know the ill bred low life I've picked it with. This is our issue, some find it amusing, we don't....not when it comes to unprovoked attacks on late members of families and details that are personal.
Those are my values, I'm sticking.

Plum, its no use. I once started a thread in much the same vein as this and got pretty much the same response. I fact, I have on many occasions requested the guys to let this crap go, but in doing so, normally landed up getting attacked myself. It ain't gonna change. The truth is, they don't give a rats arse if they fark it up for the rest of us. You basically need to accept that you have to take the good with the bad. It would be nice though, if the biatch fest could be limited to a couple of threads, and not spill over into every discussion.

"Those are my values, I'm sticking."

Actually no, Dense, your real low-class scum values are more like this:

"Perhaps if your father wasn't a drunk and had spent some more time with your mother then just maybe she wouldn't have had the need to service the next door neighbor. Kills a coupla birds with one stone cause then you would have known your real father."

I challenge anyone to find a comment I made about anyone's family member that compares to Dense's quote above.

Judging by the number of judgmental foot-stampers who have quite a lot to say about me slagging off family members but haven't put up a single quote of mine, I'm not expecting too many takers . . . but still . . . let's see.

Here's another quote from the same person trying to claim the moral high ground but can't find a single quote of mine . . .

"So tell me this Rooi, was your homophobia brought about by your daddy wearing pink frilly panties? And is that the reason why you quite often squeal ...."Wehe"
And about your mommy, did she console herself by servicing the neighborhood?
Just some questions, Rooi....if you don't like them I have more...lots more."

I didn't count too many posters getting outraged by that comment and I'm still waiting for a single example of quote of mine that was disparaging towards anyone's family members.

"As for a small pecker.......

Well, hehe, on a Saturday afternoon, many many years ago....... about 17 by my reckoning...... your wife would have disagreed with you on that."

Oh please, Moffie ... give it a rest. You are the biggest stirrer on this board ... so please don't play the innocent victim here. I doubt anyone can even comes close to the amount of conflict you've generated over the years.

The conflict on here would be cut by 80% in your absence. That is a fact.

Fcuking hypocrite!!

I see you want to put a few rules in place now. I'm sure you would never think of having them tailor made for you and your gimps, right?

I'm sure you would never rid us of those that irk you, right? I'm sure you would also do away with the ones you so love to use in "war" ... right?

Tell me who appointed you lord of the manor? Do you honestly think that you carry enough respect on here that we'd all go along with your suggestions?

LOL!!! Dream on, Moffie!!

Interestingly ...

"Wishing we can avoid conflict is not the answer, argument is the life blood of these Boards"

in other words ... "let's continue with the current conflict because I really enjoy it ... it's fun to gang up on "Tokkie" ... and others ...  it's fun to call him a "poofter" and see his blood boil ... but we should put definite parameters in place over the things that irk me ... for example, I don't like being called "Moffie" ... that must come to an end immediately" ...

"Instead we should insist that families and race be kept out of it...arguments should be decided on the merits"

In other words ... "do away with any comments on quotas and race based selections ... and do away with any comments on my family ... and my subservient gimps' families ... no personal information is to be divulged on any of us ... but ... it's acceptable if I post a few pics of those I despise ... it's ok if I divulge personal details of those that irritate me" ...

Well, Moffie ... as long as our quota coach selects on race, I will comment on it ... and I will do so as graphically as I please ... as long as you feel you have the right to post pics of fellow members and divulge their personal details, then as far as I'm concerned we all do.

Plum's complaint is a valid one ... I've voiced my own concerns in the past ... nothing came of it ... and nothing will come of his either. We either do it properly or we don't do it at all.

Oh the hypocrisy. I'm sure that the terms like "ill bred" refers to ones parents' ability to bring up a child. Calling someone ill bred means, by definition, "badly brought up or showing bad upbringing". That, IMO, is downgrading someone else' parents, isn't it? Just asking. Same goes for other terms like low breed.

Look, it is no secret that I would not quite call the guy my biggest mate but I have checked this thread and the one that he has quoted above and in all honesty, I think that he has a point.
