I have my Nelson Mandela shirt on, my Meerkat socks, a matching paisley watch and some Play 9 loafers….and I’m ready to jol! This is a great Holiday, family and friends giving thanks for the good things in life over a ludicrously over the top meal.

And I extend these thoughts to my fellow Board members it’s been a hell of a Rugby year. Lots of enjoyable arguments….special thanks to Dave and Mike for those. But how great to be watching live Springbok rugby after 2020.

Best to everyone, it looks like a great year for the stuffing!

Mozart

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you - don't  know how long that Holiday will remain - the Democratic Party Woke culture wants to do away with it.    Regards and best wishes to your family and friends as well

Nothing greater than to spend time with you loved ones and close loyal friends around a table at this time of the year.

Apple Pie (warm) and Vanilla ice-cream are my top desert.

Enjoy thanksgiving mozart and trust that we will all be spared to enjoy these times again next year.

Cheers.

Thanks guys nice thoughts…..damn straight about next year Arthur! We had good pecan pie, but a laughably extravagant chocolate cake stole the show.

Happy Thanksgiving Moz

I always thought that this should be a mandatory public holiday that more countries celebrate....

It must surely give a person the reminder of the most important things surrounding you... and in your life...…

Enjoy the time with the family Moz

Thanks DA…I agree, if any holiday deserves to be universal this one which celebrates life deserves to be. Just like the Jewish toast…L’Chaim…..to life, strikes me as just perfect.

Late to the game but happy holidays, Moz. My cousin is married to an American chap and despite living here in JHB they always celebrate Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, her dad(my uncle) died in a car crash yesterday morning and I doubt thanksgiving will ever be the same for them again. Luckily he was well into his eighties and had a mega-innings of a life under the belt.

Sorry to hear that Plum, I can understand how the day will never be the same. Oddly after many years seemingly of no accidents I have heard of several just recently.

My daughter and grandson were in a crash that totaled the car 2 weeks ago….but they crawled out of the overturned SUV without a scratch. One of the things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Glad they’re ok, Moz. Indeed, I can imagine you must have been quite relived.
