I am finished with this scumbag Meyer. He has now totally buggered up my beloved Springboks and I cannot support him and his team any longer. I absolutely adore the AB way of playing but I cannot bring myself to support them. I have decided to support one of the teams that they draw most of their resources from, so I am still busy deciding which of the PI teams I will support in future.

Any suggestions?

Come now Michael, less of the pedantry of the imagined if you may. Meyer has done a great thing in developing the Boks into a monstrous side. Who would have thought that after the tragic fall under Peter we would be feared again? To be quite honest, I cannot recall anyone speaking of the Springboks today since the time of 1997/1998. To be called powerful, monstrous, dangerous, lethal, ominous continually is quite refreshing. All in Meyers two terms and with a derth of foundation material at hand he has whittled away  with pure genius. Please do the man credit and laud him. And to add insult to injury the very changes you propose would bring down the very pillars of this team. Condemnant quod non intellegunt.

 Cloudy,

You cannot be serious. What players? Fat slob Alberts and even fatter lazy Steenkamp, useless Morne, uncle Fourie du Preez, over the hill Jaque, hasbeen JP, grandad Bakkies...............? No way can anybody in their right minds support any of that bunch of Meyer Bulls bedroom buddies.

Mike, I sympathise with your feelings about Meyer, I feel much the same way but have not taken the leap yet.............the Bok side to play Scotland is a disgrace........to think that had Morne been fit, he to would have been on board.

I cannot muster any enthusiasm to support such a pathetic Bok side.........I am far more looking forward to the Eng v AB and the Oz v Ireland games.

Meyer is a clueless conservative twit - an insult to Bok rugby and where it should be going

 Mike

Over the years you've banged on about Fourie Du Preez and in cricket you've banged on about Graeme Smith.

There is only one other poster I know of who is as hopelessly serious and wrong at the same time as you are.

In the same vein you bang away at Meyer and Alberts.

I simply can't believe anyone can follow a sport for as long as you have and still be way off the mark.

Amazing....seriously amazing.

@mike,

just support the All Blacks bro, at least u will know what its like to consistently win year in and year out, and not have to have a good season sandwiched between shit seasons which is a Bok calling card.

the team is a joke, as a kiwi im stoked, cos Boks are continuing down the road which keeps them firmly under the All Blacks boot.
as a Bok fan, im disappointed, all that talent just being wasted, no thought or care to the future.

i believe that line in phantom meancne between madter qui gonn an young obi wan, where qui gonn says u should always be mindful of the future, but not at the expense of the present.
this is very apt here cos in the past, it seemed that the All Blacks was the only one to really care about the tests in between the RWC, the argument made by many coaches after a loss that it was a building phase for the RWC was nothing but a pathetic joke IMO.

meyer is putting on the team he thinks can do the job, so fair enough and good on him, but the little game time he gives the young uns in the squad a chance to grow is just poor management on meyers part.
the development of the NZ young uns in the All Blacks has been a steady stream of continuity, with many newbies getting decent gametime to develop, and with two tests to go, All Blacks still have a chance for the real rugby prize, a 100% season.

so plenty of reasosn to support the All Blacks mikey, but i think in ur hearts of heart, ur still a bokke, despite ur current outrage.
peopel say plenty of things they dont mean in moments of anguish, so deep breaths brother mike,

First of all - I was surprised when I saw this posting.   I did not post the original posting on this threat - it is likely done by one of my enemies on this site.   And only Shezza - a real observer noted that.   Matter of fact I never even read any postings on this thread until just now.

There is one thing that is clear and that is that I am disgusted with the duplicity shown here and the obvious fraudulent impact that poster has created.   I think this type of thing should be stopped and the fraudulent poster banned.   It can be done by the Administrator and should b done.  In reading the contributions - I have identified the source - It is that scumbag and rat shit going under the name of Ceradyne.

The other thing I dislike intensely is Meyer and his team selections - he is taking us back to the unsuccessful 2010-2011 years.   And that is where we will remain - no growth and development - only stagnation - is what to be expected.  Even successful younger players (like Etzebeth and Le Roux) are now bench players (likely to be totally excluded from the match squads in future) and the likes of Fourie, Pietersen, Bakkies Botha, Gurthro Steenkamp  and - being awaited with enthusiasm - Mattfield are the future of SA rugby.   Can we expect anything better in future?

The answer is NO - we will remain the number 2 rugby country in the world or go downwards and never upwards - we will win with difficulty most matches against teams we should beat easily an we will continue to lose crucial future matches.  With Meyer's attitude we are in for disappointments in 2014 and 2015.

That is my real opinion on the issue - but it does not take away may support of the Springboks as a team.   It makes it very disappointing to see how we struggle in winning some matches and how we lose in others - whilst we have th players to grow in future.

Ou Maaikie jou arme poepol. Why would I go through and the effort do something like this to make a fool  of you? You are doing a great job if it all on your own. Having said that, I would not surprise if deep-down these are not in fact your true feelings.

Hell. Now that I think about it. Maybe you and clevemike is actually one and the same. In that way you can express your true feelings without taking stick for it. Cleverly done ou Maaikie. Very clever indeed.

I may at times get into arguments with many posters and also in heated ones indicating dislike - but I am generally not serious about it - but this guy Ceradyne is not in that category.  He is poor and simply unlikeable and if there is one guy I really think poorly about - but this came from thee Supersport site days - when any criticism of his favourite team - the Bulls - and any criticism of Bulls players were treated in a bad way by him.

Should perhaps realize that he is what Beeno says - a windpomp - that is a wind pump literally translated - but the wind he pumps smells of farts - so lets leave it at that.

The feeling is mutual ou Maaikie. What gets me about you is that you are always trying to prove your point with BS and lies. If you come with honest facts and opinions it would make life so much easier but your problem is that you have a deep down hatred against certain players and individuals that you would stoop down to downright lying to discredit them. Talking about low life................

Can you read English?  I did not start this rubbish thread and I did forecast a win for the Springboks on Saturday.  My forecast would have been quite realistic  - if it was not for the brilliance of Le Roux.

I AM NOT A PESSIMISTIC FOOL - RATHER A REALISTIC EVALUATOR OF WHAT TO EXPECT.   DO NOT LIVE IN A PREJUDICED DREAM WORLD LIKE YOU DO.

And yes you are a pessimistic fool. That I'm afraid is the only thing you have in your life ... negativity ... a doomsayer ... a crybaby!!!

I'm most fortunate to say that I do not know you personally. You must be a real delight at a party.
