The above is interesting - because a substantial number of players from the above squad is likely to be in the Under 20 squad for the Junior WC next year.
I think two nominees is very interesting - namely JT Jackson and Eduard Zandberg. Jackson was the star of the show in the Craven week games and thoroughly deserve selection.
I spoke to my brother in Riversdale about Jackson - he is well acquainted with the family. He told me that Jackson was getting a monthly retainer of R1 800 from the Blue Bulls since he was in form 10 - ie since June 2012. Nice monthly pocket money for a school kid. The Bulls also paid his school fees, uniforms and accommodation costs. His father flew up with him last week to Pretoria to negotiate a new agreement as to his future with the Blue Bulls.
So Beeno - another opportunity lost for the WP.
