We have to move on from Steenkamp and Adriaanse.........Nkanyane has been good all year and I was very impressed with him at 3 for the Cheetahs on Sat, showing versatility in being able to play both sides of the scrum.

Of all our young props, Marcel v/d Merwe is our best prospect. He missed the S15 with an injury but has been back for two weeks.

de Allende has impressed with the few opportunities he has been given this year, he looks the part and we need to blood him. Far better option than de Jongh.

I am a Mvovo fan, he was good this year in the S15 and is far better than Basson.

Morne was crap 5 years ago, nothing has changed, we need to move on. Jantjies has rediscovered his spark with the Lions and I am a fan.......Lambie and Jantjies ahead of Morne anyday.

Pienaar has been crap, Reinach is a quality young 9

Am a massive fan of de Jager, he is a monster who gets stuck in. He starts in my Bok side ahead of the useless Kruger. Jacques du Plessis is our new Etzebeth and Labascagne is a quality loosie.....I have him ahead of Alberts anyday. Alberts lacks finesse and has been exposed for being a crashballer who adds nothing else.

Saffex Jantjies has been very poor and is not a regular starter in CC for the Lions anymore - the Stormers are not going to contract him for Super 15 next year and there are even doubts whether the Lions will contract him. I go alomng wit your 28 - bar for Jantjies. In his place I would put in either Visser or Pollard - both from the Blue Bulls. Am a great fan of the former. He can cover both full back and flyhalf.

Mozart Your problem has always been that you prefer "experienced players" to performers, irrespective of whether experience equate to non-performance. Mvovo for me is a 50-59 case and Jantjies is a non-starter. I would prefer Mvovo to Basson though. I accept that your group will include the mighty ball carrier and bone crushing tackler Alberts - who for the past year has done virtually no carrying and very little in the line of tackling - because he is too slow and even the slower players are faster than him. I would have Elstadt and Labuschagne ahead of him 100% of the time. He is freaking useless 90% of the time. In tests you need performers not crap - like Meyer specializes in.

Kak Mike Jantjies has been damn good since his return to the Lions, he is starting and will continue to start. The fact that useless Coetzee at the Stormers does not want him, means stuff all. Coetzee is hardly the measure. Pollard did nothing of note for the Baby Boks and Visser is a 15, so no way in hell would he qualify as a Bok back-up 10. I would not have Morne anywhere near my squad.......the best two 10's in SA are Lambie and Jantjies, until Goosen returns

Saffex Sorry to inform you that Jantjies is only starting because the Lions full back is injured and the only available replacement is Boshoff. In view of that Jantjies has been brought in as flyhalf - for no other reason. Lets face facts - if I have to find another flyhalf - I would go for Catrakilis - he has been good all season for the Kings - unlike Jantjies who most of the time was extremely poor in Super 15. And you are wrong about Coetzee - he absolutely loves Jantjies - but he cannot have him because the rest of the WP management is not prepared to throw any more good money after bad to pay for a half-baked player who was good in his teens and did not develop into an acceptable player on senior level. By the way I saw Visser playing recently at flyhalf and he is a hell of a lot better thanb Morne ever was - hence my support of the guy.

Saffex Sorry - but read the following:- "MTN Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann has moved Elton Janties to flyhalf and shifted Marnitz Boshoff to fullback to face DHL Western Province in a Absa Currie Cup clash at Ellis Park on Friday. Boshoff replaces Chrysander Botha who drops due to a hamstring injury." Can you read properly - If Botha was not injured - Jantjies would have been on the bench - comprehende?

Jantjies has an awful season at the Stormers … get’s dropped to the bench at the Lions because of poor form … has to pray that someone’s injured so that he can start cause there’s no one else to select from ... and what does Stupid do ??? … he includes the incompetent arse in his Bok squad.

It’s hilarious.

He then adds chumps like Jacques Du Plessis, Kolissi, Willemse, Stander and De Allende to the mix ... AND honestly expects to be competitive down under.

A laugh a minute I tell ya!!!

What really cracks me up is this fool then comes aboard and wants to lecture us.

I think that with all of the dodgy french boks playing their first club game while the boks have a week off, I would prefer it if we just took a young team over. Those that are a year or two of possible becoming bok regulars. As long as they can get a bonus point and run both Aus and NZ close, leaving the competition open for the home games. If we can get 2 bonus points on the road or even a win and then win all of our home games.

The team I would take in starting order

1. Beast / 23. Trevor

2. Bismark / 16. Strauss

3. Jannie / 17. Coenie

4. Estebeth / 18 Lood

5. Van Der Merwe / Elstadt

6. Coetzee / 19 Lappies

7. Kolisi

8. Vermeulen

9. Reinach / 20 Van Zyl

10. Lambie / 21 Jantjies

11. Mvovo

12. Serfontein / De Allende

13. De Villiers / 22 Ebersohm

14. JJ / Rhule

15. Le Roux / Ludik

We are a bit short on Fullbacks, but if F Steyn was fit and JP was still on the scene, I would not hesitate, but it was between Ludik and Aplon, I just think that Aplon is 31 and he got exposed badly against australia a few seasons back. We need to start developing Wings and Fullbacks as well as Scrumhalves.

Well, than kgod this is all hypothetical because we can not afford to take a whole bunch of newbies on a tour. A good "team" with cohesion is always going to beat a "side" full of good individuals and taking too many newbies at this stage will be as good as when we used to fly "A" teams out of SA to cotton wool our starters. Unfortunately, at this stage in the comp, we have to remain pretty much the same and hope to build on that.

SA management has no clue how to blood players and ease them in. If a guy is playing well, the country calls for him to be thrown in, eventually the coach can no longer ignore the calls, chucks him in and we all watch him drown ala Taute as 13 which had the hallmarks of being a cherry bomb but in fact was a pop pop! Look how well Luatua was introduced to All Blacks. You can guarantee that had Richie not been available to play, Victor Vito would have been called up to start in Messam's absence. Luatua has been with the squad for a while soaking it in, the time was right to throw him in with hugely experienced guys around him like Reid and McCaw and he is in a position now to challenge Messam for that 6 jersey and possibly actually knock him off his perch. Great player management. SA management is years behind that sort of play!

What I would do is change a few key positions. Changes in bold.

15 Lambie

14 Le Roux

13 Serfontein

12 De Villiers

11 Habana

10 Steyn

9 Van Zyl (Du Preez not available)

8 Vermuelen

7 Alberts / Louw (last 30 mins-Alberts to empty tank in 50 mins)

6 Fourie

5

4 Etzebeth

3 Du Plessis

2 Du Plessis

1 Mtwararira

On the bench. Take some knew guys:

16 Strauss

17 Marcel Vd Merwe

18 Oosthuizen

19 Willemse

20 Louw

21 Pienaar (In case it turns to shit with Van Zyl. Only reason)

22 Catrakilis (if fit by then) otherwise Zeilinga

23 Engelbrecht

I dont know who I would play at 5 but definately not Kruger. Way to soft for a Bok tight 5 spot. I want a hard man there. Is Bekker not available? Who is hard and savvy enough to call the Bok lineout?

Take a new flyhalf. We have enough in Lambie to cover Morne if we really need but a good 5 to 10 mins at the back end of a test match or just being in the environment want hurt a guy like Catrakilis or Zeilinga. Both have huge future's. Zeilinga has proven himself every level he has played at! He has what it takes I reckon.

Saffex That quote I gave was from the background statement on the selections. They moved Boshoff to full back because their first choice full back to replace Botha who was injured. Coetzee was obviously their third choice full back - and they put him on the bench. If Jantjies buggers up - like is his normal - they would bring Coetzee on and move Boshoff to flyhalf. Why is Jantjies - if he was so good for the Lions virtually all games on the bench - after he buggered up badly in the first CC game? No team put their first choice player in any position on the bench. Sorry - but you still don't accept that Jantjies has over the last year lost the plot completely - and that is a fact really not up to standard.

Saffx I on't care a toss what you think . Actions speak louder than words. Boshoff is the preferred flyhalf of the Lions - based on the fact that he started in two of the last three CC matches and that is what counts. It is obvious that Ackerman does not have as much faith in Coetzee as he has in Boshoff at full back Whether you like it or not - Jantjies has mostly played like shit for the past year already - so he is not even remotely selectable on Super 15 level and barely play as a bench player on CC level..

Sadly ol Stupid doesn't realise that the it's essential that Boshoff starts, even at prop if need be, cause we need a reliable kicker.

Jantjies can't kick to save his life. The last time he tried he couldn't even reach the posts from 30m out. He dug his foot into the ground a few centimeters infront of the ball, taking out a large divot, which caused the ball to fall a good 7m short.

That cost us the Cheetahs match.

Talk about infuriating.

But hey ... let's send this boy down under to represent us agains the might of the All Blacks and the Wallabies. That's really intelligent, Stupid.

Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaaaa!!!!

We could all see the signs, your brain just couldn't buy you a ticket out. Judging by some of your comments on here, its not hard to see why. Thick is an understatement.

U think Rugby is the be all and end all in life? I must live in SA with the job situation and crime rates like they are so I can say "I am a true Bok supporter!" Why dont you give your kids the future they deserve or is your whole family as fucked in the head as you? When you sitting in your car with a gun to your head, I hope you are man enough to untuck that tail between your legs. Mind u, u could take a bullet to the head. No chance of hitting brain in there..

Coming back to your team...Why dont you play for the Boks? I mean, you are almost 60 years old but still built like Pierre Spies and can run a 10km in record time...You seem super human.

Now if you will excuse me old man, I am off to do some stand up comedy. I am inspired by you...I might open with a crowd favourite..Boshoff and Volmink to be Bok starters in Aus...Ha ha gets me everytime..

ps..I will be sure to tell all the SA supporters packed into Eden Park come 14th that "we" are not allowed to support the Boks because we dont live in SA. Haha you are a tosser hey. Just remember to give your kids the old talk on inbreeding hey. Dont want another Clean Cunt in this world.

Saffex You have a very short memory. I would like to remind you of the Soweto test where Jantjies buggered up so badly that his teammates for the last 25 minutes of the game cut him out and did not pass the ball to him. I agree with you about Morne Steyn - but to replace him with Jantjies would amount to committing hara-kiri The more I saw of Jantjies - especially on Super 15 level - the more I got convinced that Super 15 is one level higher than where he conceivably could play at the maximum - and that is with a big question mark - maybe on CC level..

Saffex Sorry - but it is not bullshit. Pienaar handled the ball in that test 57 times - he kicked 5 times and passed the ball 50 times - making a run on his own 2 times. In the first quarter of the match - when Goosen was on the field of play - he passed the ball 9 times to Goosen and in the first half he passed the ball 7 times to Jantjies - who on three occasions buggered up badly. For the rest of the game Pienaar passed the ball directly to other players than Jantjies - avoiding him like the plague. That is exactly what happened - why would that be the case with a flyhalf if he was not useless and a waste of space? It is not a lie - it is the bloody truth - so nothing will convince me I am wrong in this regard.

Saffex There has been 4 CC matches played by the Lions thus far. In the first match Jantjies started off as fkyhalf - he buggered up so badly that he was dropped from the starting line up and Boshoff took over. The last game he was brought back to thes tarting line up and Boshoof was moved to full back - because the Lions first choice full back was injured - for no other reason and Jantjies was brought back into the starting line up. Really no indication that he was any good in the other three matches. What the hell are you talking about? Boshoff remains the Lions first choice flyhalf and Jantjies only gets a call up if there are injuries to be taken into account. Dream on. You apparently cannot read English - In the whole test Pienaar passé the ball 50 times - 9 times to Goosen and in the first half 7 times to Jantjies. In the whole of the second half he passed the ball 5 times to Jantjies - all the other 29 passes were to other players and Jantjies was clearly cut out by his teammates. Even sasue said he was surprised about it - it was so obvious.

Saffex It is really amazing - you are the only peron on this site that rates Jamtjies - the coaches, the franchise management, all other members really saw what he really is - not meeting even reasonable requirements at all. What is this about Earl Silky Hands that make him such a desperately needed player for the Springboks? His ball handling skills are questionable - his defence at best ludicrous - and he himself has virtually no attacking abilities. If a player look good at Under 20 level - he should improve once in the main rugby sphere - he should show that improvement in performance - and if he does he could have a very good career. Jantjies did not show any improvement - his performances deteriorated to the level of a farce. As to the Soweto test - if in the Soweto test passed the ball 25 times an during a whole half he past the ball only 4 times to Jantjies (the fifth time Jantjies got the ball from De Villiers. Bearing that in mind - what does it mean? It means he was a disaster and could not contribute anything to the game - they cut him out as far as humanly possible - end of story. You are obviously welcome to go and see what happened and then try and counter a very valid point. However, you will find it 100% factual so have fun and keep on making your ludicrous remarks about how wonderful Earl Silky Hands Jantjies really is..

Saffex - You stupid cunt you know nothing about Rugby. What shit are you speaking now, you are an absolute liar. It is embarrasing and insulting to read your shit and it seems like you have no shame. Support England instead, you will fit right in there.

I'll keep it simple DomMike, Morne never makes my squads, I don't pick bog ordinary players who happen to be good kickers. The creative Jantjies over Morne everyday of the week. Rugtwat, why don't you just slit your wrists, that would do us all a favour
