I wonder how much AB's absence has contributed towards the Proteas performances in the last 3 ODI's.

Could it be that the rest of the lineup realised that they had to pull up their socks and be responsible for more runs?

Or is Australia really playing that crap?

I feel its the former.

I really do believe that his absence has had a psychological effect on Qdk, Rilee, Faf, Miller and even JP.

Similar effect that Tendulkars absence had on the Indian lineup.

Shows you how much of a psychological game it is.

Good question, I guess we'll never really know accept to say it must have had some effect. I've also had some thoughts on Faf being more of a captain's captain than AB. A bold move would be to leave Faf captain when AB returns allowing AB to concentrate on his batting.
