Imagine being blamed for a try when you aren't even on the park. This from the addled brain of OOm Maaik:

" However, he played Alberts - who had only 3 Super 15 games, but under-performed in all three he played in.   Selections like those are the death of SA Rugby - we cannot have under-performers and expect miracles.  I think that if we had a more mobile and more balanced loosie with better defence credentials  - there would have been very little chance for Messam  scoring his second try just after the siren went and also of Read not been tackled and the consequential try of Ben Smith be averted."

A good theory, but poor Alberts had been stretchered off 5 minutes before.

alberts wasnt to blame for any of messams trys, but he was to blame for ben smiths try. his weak attempt of a tackle on read gave habana zero choice but to commit to read who then offloaded to ben smith who danced his way into a try after stepping both sidehow bob, jj and then shooing away morne who was doing his best to mimic alberts earlier pathetic tackle attempt.

alberts was much a do about nothing in ellis park which was the same in eden park too. there are better and more mobile loosies then alberts in SA, labuschanges is clearly one of them.

but what about messams first try aye boys, morne manages to stop all of messams momentum, but messam just turned on the retallick 4 wheel drive and brodie powered messam over for the try, wicked stuff brodie, u the man,
