The All Blacks Man Hunt

Consider this for a moment, does the all blacks allow teams to score against them deliberately to give any one that is watching that their team or the next team that is playing against them a sense that they could have beaten them or have a chance that they can win. 

This came to mind when thinking back a book we read at school. 

A man founds himself stranded on an island, only to be met with a warm welcome. That evening he meets the host for the first time. A lavish banquet is laid out for him and a chance to meet his host for the first time. 

The news that he is waiting for is not what he’d expected. Thoughts of going home soon turns when the host explains to him that he is a bit of a trophy hunter and has killed many dangerous animals but now grown tired and needs to hunt for something else. 

Takes the man to a room and give him a few options of what to where and what item he can take with him. 

The man get’s thrown into the jungle below with the option that if you can survive till day light, you will be a free man. 

I don’t think the Kiwis are bored playing against other teams but decide to save the best for the last 20 minutes and close out the game. They know they are the best attacking team in the world, the have the tactics and the have the defence. They also know that they have the stamina. 

What I do believe is that the all blacks have to make it look competitive in order for teams and fans wanting to watch their games or people will start losing interest in them as they will say that they have an unfair advantage, what is the point of playing them, we know where this is heading. 

Argentina should never have gotten that close to them, I have seen it for many years now where in the last 10 minutes that they shut other teams out and destroy them. 

I once thought that Ireland was going to win, but only for them to string 3 tries together within 10 minutes. It was in the 71st minute and it look like Ireland was about to make history for the first time only to fall at the last hurdle. 

It is like a mouse that thought he escape after surviving tosses and swipes from a cat only to be gobbled up. 

Ha hahahahahahaha very funny 

 Ha ha Kingcorn, good one mate. Sometimes it does look like the ABs are toying with the opposition but in spite of the fierce Haka we ain't going to eat anyone.

 I'm glad the kiwis on hear sees the funny side.

But Ireland did win.....I saw them do it.

Yes Mozart, I'm talking a few seasons ago now, but they managed to stay ahead in the end. Great result by Ireland last year. Great display of tactical play from Sexton and Murray. 
I guess if you want a chance, you will have to stay ahead at all time

Actually they should have won the game you reference as well.....Se.xton had a simple kick from about 30 metres out to put it beyond a converted try and he missed. Then when NZ scored Ireland charged early giving Cruden a second kick for the win.

 One could almost argue that SA has a better chance against NZ as they have conceded fewer points against the same teams they played per match when it comes to defence. New Zealand Leaked 25 points on average against Australia and 23 points against the Bargies. 
Where SA leaked 23 against Australia and and 23 against the Bargies. I expect that number to go up a bit though and NZ can put a minimum of 26 points against SA perhaps up to 35 points considering their superior attacking game. 
SA will have to up their attack and try to get to at least 30 points if they want to get in with a shout

 That is that. NZ can not crush their opponents in fear of angering their partners. They must help opponents to save their face.
