When I coined this name a few years back, there were many who admired Kirchner. Not so much anymore. Myself never.
But what did they see I ask myself, and what does Meyer see today? InZane, so aptly named at birth, just waiting for the simple prefix, is unable to accurately put foot to the ball. Half the time it woer-woers off in the wrong wrong direction or sails directly into touch from the up and under.
Nor can this strong man buy a tackle....he always gets himself nicely in place and then mistimes the whole thing or gets stepped....in a whirling dervish kind of way.
He does join the line quite often but hardly reads the opportunity well. I suppose the high ball is his best suit. In every other way Gio Aplon is miles better. What a frustration it must be for Aplon as he makes brilliant open field tackles around the ankles to see this clumsy player preferred.
I would prefer Jake, but I generally support Meyer. He made some solid moves last year putting Lambie at 10 and bringing in Louw. But the Woolie Bully again....he can't be serious!
