If I have ever seen a determined effort by the Head Coach and team to lose a match - thiss one was one. First of all the backline was shit based on playing a stupid at flyhalf and then there were player stupidity that reigned supreme in the team.

Despite a detemined effort to the contrary the Stormers won the match,

One other thing - there is no cure for stupidity/ So lets see the Springboks back in the Stormers team when they play La Rochelle in Cape town.

Ja, not taking a penalty for the lead with less than 10 to go...3 times in a row...glad we scored the try, but man that was stupid...Moerat must go!

What a ludicrous red card for the Stormers #19 though. "Oh he stepped on the guy's ankle while being pushed around in a maul, red". I can't, man.

I could not make out what that red card was issued for. The replays showed the man was hanging on to the underpants of a team mate - must be the most tupid red card ever, Moerat is the most stupid player I have seen in years, In a thread under Mikes Gripes I refer to how to test Negative for Stupid. A test like that is not neessary for Moerat - he is too stupid to even be entered for such a test when he tried to get the team to play Jake-Ball during the match - especially during the first five minutes after halftime he was still on the field.

My commentary, Brit, mentioned that Smith looked down, & then, he stood on the frog's enkle

They're assuming that because he looked down it was deliberate. He looked down like anyone would do if they're off balance and trying to find their footing, and probably because he had just stepped on the guy's body a moment before so of course he'd be checking what was going on under his feet. It's like these officials can't engage any sort of critical thinking.

It's great to see Mampara Pakster continued progress. He appears to be waking up to the bias of the Disciplinary Committre and now biased refs.

If he continues like this he might get the boot.from the MGU!!!

The question is, why are the lady refs able to go numerous matches without hassle?

That was a shocking decision, yet again, by officials that seem devoid of common sense.

He was supposed to defy gravity and levitate to prevent him from stepping on someone right underneath him...how dare he not?!!!

Well, great result for the Stormers given all their front line players were pretty much rested for next week. They just come off a match against Munster and having a phenomenal start to the season. Traditionally their away form is awful but Swart might not be a Currie cup level player but he got all of his kicks and even manufactured a breakout and counter from our own 22.

The Stormers scrum has gone up a notch and looks like Machunu has finally learned to scrum.

Moerat had a couple of good carries.

The only blotch was Roos, getting dominated by the tackler and not able to get over the advantage line. Only able to run into space but then gets knocked back. Probably why the Doctor felt he need to learn how to dominate the collisions
