The BEST and the WORST of 2013.

With the season drawing to a close, we can only look back now and the moments that made 2013 a memorable one.

These awards were not easy to achieve so please acknowledge the recipients.

The best of the year: The NZL AB's

The most improved: Springboks

The most disappointing: Argentina (They were due a win and got klapped by the Aussies)

Game of the year: Boks vs AB's in Ellis Park

Flop of the year: Romain Poite in AB's vs Boks in Eden Park. Bizzy's sending off to keep NZL in the game.

The real awards:

The most clueless in rugby on the board: Saffex

The most delusional: Beeno (He still thinks SA are 3 wins from 4 over the AB's in the last 2 years)

The longest way around landing with egg on your face: Clevermike

The fattest: Saffex

The ugliest: Saffex

The most below the belt piece of shit: Saffex (his wish that Clean Cut is diagnosed with cancer. Not a funny scenario)

The omelette: Saffex (couldnt wash the egg off with a pressure hose)

The most different combinations selected in 12 months: Saffex

The outright most stupid: Saffex

As you can see, it was a night for Saffex. Congrats brother. You will be a hard one to knock off next year.

At the end of the day Beeno, the scoreboard is the only measure..I dont want the Boks to have the most clinical team in the game, execute perfectly and look like stars but lose 15-14 against the AB's. I would rather our centres run 2m's with the ball, we have a grind and its not champagne rugby at all but we win 15-14 on the scoreboard.

Course we want to look good and be dominant but end of the day, you need to win on the scoreboard to win the WC.

I do agree with you that the Boks did look good against the AB's and the AB's won in Dunedin but they didnt beat us but at the end of the day, people remember the scoreboard in 10 years to come.

I am happy with where the Boks are going and I can tell you now, the AB's wont finish higher than the Boks in 2015. They dont have the game to win 7 from 7 in the WC on those fields. They will catch an inspired NH team and they wont have enough grunt in the pack as it stands BUT and a massive BUT, they are getting Kaino back and he will bring something totally different back to that AB pack. They are also not great defensively but they make up for it on attack. SA is great defensively. Defence wins in the NH. AB's were lucky not to lose all 3 of their tour games whereas SA had their opposition by the nuts!

 Interestingly the Boks were 10/12 this season - only one bent ref call away from matching it with the AIGs who consistently depend on the refs...

Boks on right path if they can blend their physicality and discipline right then they will threaten top ranks....

Don't discount the wallabies under supercoach Link - after one mixed season the team are on the right path and for once we have some depth across the park in nearly all positions... what to do when pocock fit eg....

Yes, Saffex!, I do remember Klown having a very cowardly and uncalled-for pop at your son and I remember telling him that he was out of line. His response was very similar to yours . . . a long, defensive and self-righteous rant where he demanded the right to slag off your son just as you're demanding the right to tell Klown that you hope he dies of cancer.
