Ever heard of Skonk, a legend...rated by many top rugby players that knew him, and pundits. A man that not only left his influence in rugby circles but a mentor that influenced many lives in so many ways...the Mr Chips of my old school that now alas is only a mere shadow of it's former glory. It was a priviledge to know him...I attended his memorial service in 2011, it was packed out with those who knew him including well known Springboks and Provincial players.
