The Blitzboks won the Dubai Trophy

I was so turned off from watching the Blitzbok games for months now and was surprized that despite an initial loss to eNgland in the group game - they managed to beat the AB's and went on to the final.   I had to watch the final and they were magic beating the Irish 21 - 5 in the final.

They were beaten by the Irish in September it was a great comeback to win the title for the 4th year in succession and they were very good in scoring three tries in the first ahlf of the game and then p[revented the Irsih to succeed in scoring only a consolation try in the second half when the Irish had the ball possession for long periods o tiem.   

A good start for the enw coaching team.        

This new scrumie Riccardo Duarttee is a good find.... Shilton van Wyk has better footwork than Rinaldo and Messi, ran rings around New Zealand in the end. 

I must confess, I haven't watched sevens for many, many years. With the state of rugby union, I may go there for a quick rugby fix.
