Let 13-5 at the end of the first half and then the bottom fell out.   They lost by 20-13.

All the big scorers in fantasy rugby went backwards by leaps and bounds.   At this stage Akira Ioane has zero points and Rieko Ioane 11 points.

This is by a distance the worst show of the Blues this year and their problems have been confirmed  - their Tight 5 is not up to standard.    That is the main reason for the loss.

No shock ou maaaaikie . The hapless Blues have been losing at home.

Time to scrap the hapless Blues and bring back a real rugby side like the Cheetahs!

Yeah I have both Akira and Reiko in my side. Both usually average ova 50. Akira 0 and Reiko 11. But like you said Mike. Can't expect powerful Ball Runners like the Ioane Bros. To do much with no platform. I just think they were outmuscled by the Jags tight five. Compounding Blues problems are their injuries. But when you look at who they lost this year in the tight. Luatua (Overseas), C Faumainia (Oversas) Kaino (Injured), Tuipolutu (Illness), Jimmy Tupou (Injured), Josh Goodhue (Injured), Ofa Tungafasi (Injured). They also got Otera Black from the Canes to help with their Flyhalve woes. But he unfortunatley got injured for the season at the Begginning of the season. So as they say it all starts up front. And Blues hav nothing really to offer their. Playing Reiko at 11, then 12, then 11, then 12. Every week, can't help either.

Poor ol' Maaikie...having a bad day at the "races"...I hope you selected Mataele, Delaney and Bateman for the next game...at least the first 2 is common sense and the Crusties are the most stable of all sides.

Seb

Mataele was on the bench so he was not a normal selection.   He came on when Dagg was injured

I had Bateman as center.  Would have preferred to have De Allende though.

But none of the players I picked as bakers came off,   My SA bankers did much better - eg Marx, Willemse and Du Toit.

...3ku you realise yr sitting on a dirty great big faultline down there...maybe shifting a few of those Canes players north for their own protection would be a better idea...

I think Akira is over-rated and really up himself - and so are the other loose forwards in the Auckland Pack. They play like pansies but they think they are really good = NEWS FLASH = Look at the Score Board at the end of the game. Beeno they must be related to you.

Unless they humble themselves and acknowledge that they know NOTHING and prepare to learn we the Auckland Fans will keep seeing the same results every year.

I like Umanga but I think looking at the results we have to ask the hard question whether it is way over his head coaching a Super side -->maybe go away do something else overseas and then come back.
