The Breakdown: Dissecting the All Blacks Springboks draw
Some insightful discussion on the Springboks umbrella defense. Also how the All Blacks could use the blindside more to get overlaps. The Boks close down the openside well, but there are some gaps on the blindside.
SB
They said they can use the blindside better - but not a word about the fact that there are gaps on the blindside. Fact is there are comments about the Springboks as well that is equally important - three of which were -
* that the Springboks improved massively from where they were two years ago;
* that Erasmus did a magnificent job with the team; and
* that all players take part in all aspects of the game.
Both teams can do better and are likely to do so.
The fact is the discussions on this site is BS - the discussions on the program were analytical and objective.
Well exactly if you can't see the improvement consult your optician.
No Mozart it is massively better than Meyer did in RC in 2015
* Three played - 3 lost - 0

They have looked average so far in the Northern Hemisphere so far. The England game was close, but France was even closer - with the Boks winning at the death. Wales was the worst game of the year.
Our pack is looking very good.
The breakdown is looking good even though Marx has not been in top form. Francois Louw has been in good form. Hopefully, Vermuelen gets back into top form
Hopefully, Rassie will continue as coach at least for a while after the world cup, he needs more time.
The midfield is the remaining problem.
Both teams can do better and are likely to do so.
The Springboks cannot get any better. And the AB's didn't even get out of first gear.
declining former force known as the All Blacks.
You will be shoving those words up your back -------.
Only 2 cups matter for NZ This year and I think SA will find out the hard way.
Winning the 4 nations does not mean anything in World Cup year.
Right Off NZ at your own peril.......................
FOOLS.......................................
And it confirms that you that you don't really understand what is happening at all.
Any reading of whats hapening to date has no / absolutely no relevance to what is going to happen at the world cup.
You silly idiots.
I suspect if a lady was lying there waiting for you - You would have the stupidity to try and stick your very small weener in her ear.
That pretty much sums you lot up......................
Your post sums you up nicely trans Linda.
Nobody is writing off the All Blacks - least of all me. However, to claim that the AB's did not get out of first gear is ridiculous. The 2 games last year and the one last week were all three very close affairs - so the AB's in all three games were stuck in first gear???????
Yes they seem to have gearbox trouble!
That video contains experts/legends on the game commenting on the effective defence of the Boks.
What is happening now will have no relevance to the World Cup? B-S . Can we, therefore, assume Georgia or the USA is going to win the world cup- because the current form is irrelevant?
This world cup will require a team to play 2-3 very difficult matches to win the world cup. There is more depth of teams than ever before - so getting a lucky draw is unlikely.
I am not sure the Boks could put together 4 quality games - including against the All Blacks in the first round.
The All Black forwards also have question marks if they could put together 4 strong games.
Paper thin lead? Lets get that straight:-
1 New Zealand - 91,54
2 Wales - 89,96
3 Ireland - 88,69
4 SA - 86,30
5 England - 86,27
6 Australia - 81,91
So h0ow many tests did Wales, Ireland and Eland had this year allowing them to get points in the ranking system and how many did the SH teams played din tests?
Some where in your 36000 odd posts is a Shakespearean piece of work.
It is extraordinary how difficult it is for some of our members that this is a rugby discussion set and not a site for personal attacks on other members. However, from a rugby discussion concept it is amazing to observe the slow thinking process of some of our members amd the railty to observe reality.

Nice post. I'll check the video out in full when I have a moment to myself. Some good points so far.
