How Wales can have one more player than Ireland in the squad boggles the mind. Admittedly they won at home against an Irish team looking ahead to the Pom clash....but finished in the bottom half of the Six Nations. Ireland in the meantime stopped England's attempt at a new winning streak record, dominating them it's fair to say. And they beat the All Blacks at a neutral venue.

I was spot on with selecting the captain for the Lions.Great call by omitting Hartley.

Pleased to see Stander included in the squad.....just wonder how many present Springboks would have made the squad.
My guess, none.
