the Chean Roux Maties rugby template working wonders for the Boks

I cant help but notice a marked improvement in  the boks attacking template and i am seeing a lot more cohesion on attack. backline is running a lot deeper and the running lines are a lot straigher and direct. the most effective part of the running has been the off the ball running which i can see has been much more effective than last year.

 

knowing chean roux myself from my maties involvement one can see his masterfull wand doing wonders.

 

 

Carpetmuncher With you on that one - would improve further if we can get an attacking flyhalf as well - Morne is still very static in that regard. Shows what can be done without the crashballing Francois Steyn as well. Incidentally Steyn would not fit into that team - as his speed is defective and would be counter-productive. Some more ball handling practice would help as well. I still believe that we should play Serfontein at 12, De Villiers at 13 and Engelbrecht at 14 - would be very dangerous and very effective to my mind.

as always you hit the nail on the head...the win against the pumas has been good but the real test will come in again the AB's and wallies..we need proper backline coaching. the likes of morne du plessis or even alan zondagh ext will give us a massive edge in the backs. morne steyn to me is still not up to international standard.
