Colin Slade and Tom Taylor have joined the All Blacks squad because of injuries to Aaron Cruden and Beudan Barrett.(crude and wee barrat look fragile boys to me and the Boks shoud definitely target them)
Dan Carter is already out for the first month of the Rugby Championship because of a calf strain and Cruden (knee) and Barrett (calf) are both in doubt for the All Blacks return Test against the Wallabies in Wellington this weekend.
Slade last played for the All Blacks in the 2011 Rugby World Cup and Taylor is uncapped.
Cruden was among the stand out players in the All Blacks 47-29 win against the Wallabies in Sydney.
All Blacks coach Ian Foster told the media that a decision would be made on Cruden and Barrett in the next 24 hours and still had time for a bit of humour when he said the All Blacks management would not be calling on World Cup hero Stephen Donald, who famously was drafted into the World Cup play-offs while out whitebaiting.
Donald, whose penalty proved the difference in the All Blacks World Cup final win against France, was considered fifth choice for New Zealand and only moved one up the pecking order when Luke McAllister moved to France shortly before the World Cup.
Carter, Slade and Cruden all were crocked at the World Cup before the final whistle was blown.
