While unfortunate for Fleck, he seems like a decent enough person -
He does not have the coaching experience, skill or perhaps even potential
It seems he himself has not received training on how to be a coach. Eddie Jones was meant to be his mentor, but that did not pan out. So thanks Fleckie, but time to get into some new coaching meat. The politics, infighting etc in Capetown might not be the most appealing.
Then we have Cockroach Dupreez. All of the sons will be gone next year- but so it seems like he will to be gone. It could be 4 cockroaches in one go.
Dupreez at least made the quarters. A few simple home games were lost. The Sharks at least have had good days - so maybe Dupreez needs more time.
There should be some type of coaching certification that is global- especially on how to train and practise passing and catching, simple draw and passes.
Dupreez may well hang in there because the other options are limited? Bring back Jake White as a mercenary to get short term success?
