All players eager to learn what it would take to make the final 31-man squad for the World Cup: - Play very good rugby for your franchise and help them - Be above average in all departments of the game like tackling, scrum work, clean-out at the rucks and on attack - Show something that separates you from the rest. Consistency alone will not get you there ......... Brilliant stuff from Erasmus Head.....'help your franchise' don't hurt them. That's such pablum we can set than one aside, so we are down to 2 golden rules Be above average in all departments of the game....so I guess Willie will have to work on his scrum work and Malherbe will have to. Improve his work on the attack. Finally show something that separates you from the rest....Jantjies offloading would probably qualify. ........ Combine this with the Erasmus' juvenile mea culpa on Stephanie and it might be best if he just went off the airwaves for a while.

What was it that PDV said about being a God-given talent and rats and hats again? LOL.

PdV is sounding erudite by comparison...he also beat the Lions and won the Trinations.

... and I suppose you know better, hey Moffie ... ??

What would your advice be ... select the elderly ... select on reputation and not on current form ...  ... select those with a lot of caps and vast amounts of experience ... leave the young at home ...

Does that about sum it up?

Well it's nice to see you are absorbing Clever's material....'select on reputation not current form' is straight from the Tokkie playbook.

I have the solution. Select the best players in each position, regardless of age or experience. If this is done, there will automatically be a mix of young and old.

Instead of quoting the full comments of Erasmus the BSter quoted what he regards as attackable in the statement.   The problem in that unlike Meyer - who was infatuated with reputation in his selections fully supported by the BSters - the main requirement of Erasmus is PERFORMANCE.. THE LIES FROM THE BSTERS ARE FL;LOWING AS PER NORMAL.

BB

That is the way to go - that is what Erasmus wants to do and it is obviously against what the BSters want.

I do think I will continue to ignore their postings - it is not worth commenting on their misrepresentations and lies.

Well, Moffie ... is he wrong to have said that?

All your picks are based on how they performed back in the day.

Reliving the past is what you do.

You are totally delusional and your silly little team reflects it.

Mike ... Rassie wants to include a lot of non performing, sub standard players in the squad.

He's passionate about getting the colour mix right.

He is definitely not interested in selecting our best players ... so please ... give me a break with your ... "the main requirement of Erasmus is PERFORMANCE" ... it's not true!!

He has sold us out.

I do not like quotas in selection - and if anybody irrespective of race is selected it should be based on MERIT.    I accept that Kolisi will be the captain as a quota selection.

It is very early to see what happens in actual selections.

should I ... ? ... yeah ... reckon I will ....

Um ... Mozart ... I think the word you're looking for is ... "this is your chance" ... it's really poor grammar .. and no, there's no need to thank me ... I haven't found an old lady to help across the street, so this will just have to do.

A list you ask ... nah ... perhaps another day.

'The word you are looking for is.....this is your chance'. Waaaaaaaahahaha, I have a message for you Turncoat.......'this is your chance'.....is a clause not a word. Hope that helps. As for the list, I didn't think you would try old chap, why embarrass yourself further. Good move.

Feeling like a dumb ass, huh?

Thought so.

Never mind ... you can go over it again later when you and you grandchildren gather for your morning poop ...

It is better not to react to the chief site BSter - it is a waste of space to deal with BS on site.

Not at all....rolling in the aisles....a fool tries to exploit a typo and opens himself up for a sucker punch. Fun stuff, but not unusual. The list Bigot, produce your long list of non performing players of colour in the team.

I have already stated clearly that the only two players of colour worthy of their place in the Bok mix are the two wings ... and ... with an outside chance going to Willemse at either 10 or 15.

Does that help, old timer?
