Looks like Rassie and Co is sticking with wee qwagga. I can't recall when he actually had an impact or played a proper game for the boks.

He is a fantastic super rugby player.  Especially when the game opens up and he can use his pace and step to get around with  the ball in hand. But I have not really see him do anything,

He got smashed against the lions and he just doesn't seem to have the hard edge or the street smarts of Michael Hooper to navigate around the physicality. How on earth has Jean Luc or Dan Du Preez be omitted.

All  I can see is that he is loyal to the team and have done a lot for the boks during their analysis of teams when is part of the dirt trackers.

But right now we need proper loose forwards that can get us over the advantage line and hit the rucks, make tackles.

I for one think it is time to leave the qwagga extinct

It's been clear for a while now that Rassie doesn't rate the Du Preez twins. I think he's missed an opportunity and my Bok side would have at least one of the twins starting with the other one either on the bench or starting if Vermeulen is crocked.

Kwagga has been very good this year. One of the top 3 or 4 performing Bok forwards. He's only had two quiet tests: His debut against Wales in 2018 and the 2019 All Black test in the shortened RC.

Dan du Preez is our best bet to solve the blindside problem that's persisted since the decline of Alberts. Our solidity at 7 has been very patchy to say the least. Mostert is good, but I believe Dan has the explosive quality, with skills, to take it to another level.

It seems Josè likes oafish plodders, passive plodders. He always favours the unskilled and unathletic at every opportunity.

King you are spot on Kwagga has yet to have a good game at test level. His size is a stretch too far for test level Great a Super rugby level, a complete non entity at test level The fact that the guy is starting at blindside against the AB’s is beyond insulting It’s the worst selection I have seen in ages, along with Orie starting last week The non selection of the du Preez twins is equally insulting Trust fucking clueless omelette to tell us Kwagga has been good this year - what a fucking noob

He should replace DDA at 12. Kwagga is better at everything that a 12 needs to do than what DDA is, while being equally as strong. Rugby IQ probably being the largest disparity.

Plum, I'd like to see that experiment...and Kok tried at 13 too , but the 100th test vs the Allblacks isn't the occasion to try it.

José is missing a trick, because Kolisi is clearly not a forward. He is a big back. A much, much better back than Damian. Esterhuizen is our premier 12, but I would bet that Kolisi could make the transition well enough to put the Damian myth to the grave for good.

"but the 100th test vs the Allblacks isn't the occasion to try it."

The occasion is not the time and place to persist with a worn out lie. Damian is one of the most undeserving Boks of all time.
