The Bok centres missed 6 tackles, the AB centres missed 5.

The Bok centres made 14 tackles the AB centres only made 9......so statistically the Bok centres were better defensively.
Ooops!!

You must not confuse Mozart with facts.  Remember he wrote earlier - "the worst he has ever seen" and he accused the SA centers of being Jekyll and Hyde.
The stats have been updated and the situation is no as follows:-
AB's
Tackles attempted         =     14Tackles missed              =       5Missed Tackle Ratio        =     35,71
Springboks
Tackles attempted         =     20Tackles missed              =       6Missed Tackle Ratio        =     30
So what he says about the worst he has ever seen must be admired as a real work of art in BS.

So now a 31 per cent missed tackle ratio is ok because Nonu missed half his tackles. You have to love the logic. The facts are Allende missed Kuridrani last week to lose the game and the AB hooker split cut past K riel 35 metres out and ran it in....embarrassing? You betcha.
We have a defensive issue at centre that has already contributed to losing the RC...hopefully something can be done before the WC.

You know it is not acceptable and that was stated time and again by everybody.  Every reasonable person who contributes says there is a need for improvement in that aspect of the game.  However, to carry on about that issue in the way you did is absolute rubbish.
The fact of the matter is that De Allende only had his 5th test yesterday and Kriel only his second test and you carry on as if that is a disaster.  You said there is no sign of improvement in that aspect of the game.  so lets look at De Allende in this match compared to last week:-
Aussie test
Tackles attempted     =     21Tackles made            =     15Tackles missed          =       6Missed tackle ratio     =      28,57
AB Test
 Tackles attempted     =     12Tackles made            =      10Tackles missed          =        2Missed tackle ratio     =       16,6%
So according to you NO IMPROVEMENT!!!!!
The latter figure of 16,6% is more or less what is normal with even the best inside centers.   So what is wrong in this case.
In his second test Kriel showed some inexperience but that is to be expected from a rookie in that position playing against the most experienced center pair in the world today.   There is no reason for the jeremiad you made of this issue.
I know you want the infinitely worse Francois Steyn at 12 - but to go on a campaign like the one you do is tripe.  Fransie was worse in Super rugby in defense in Super 15 over the last two years than De Allende and he was an absolute flop in attacking play in those two years as well.  So what is your solution in this case?  Fransie at 12 and De Villiers or Fourie at 13?

De Allende himself admits he still has trouble with execution and decision making on defense, and Meyer has also admitted that it is a weakness for the player that will require some hard work to improve.

This is what I said all along - what I opposed was the storm caused about the center pairing by some members on the site.  What I did say is that yesterday was the fifth test of De Allende and the second of Kriel - why was such disparaging remarks made by some members?
As De Allende and Kriel gain further experience they will get better in decisionmaking and in execution if they follow a strict development and training programme in better tackling techniques. .

I'm not sure if Allende will ever learn to be defensive captain....he is fast and powerful. I'm not sure if he is observant and decisive, necessary if you are going to be calling the shots.

Damian is very strong in his legs, not his upper body. That changes how you use him. He is having trouble handling head on pressure both on attack and defence. As evidenced in all the very detailed summaries and videos I posted. Particularly the one Michael is avoiding.

I suppose it's a matter of perspective. For me iif a player misses a tackle, the opposition score a try to win the game and the hooter sounds after the conversion......that's losing a test. For you, if you like the player,  you pretend he never missed the tackle.

He never missed the tackle and the game was lost thanks to poor team selection, poor substitutions and a pathetic game plan.
We keep losing as our useless coach has no idea.
Pointing fingers at one of our shining lights in de Allende not only smacks of rugby ignorance it smacks more of a prejudice. ....Moz if I was you I'd ditch the anti de Allende garbage as he is going to keep embarrassing you.
Two of my neutral Pom  rugby mates only mentioned the name of de Allende after that test......I wonder why?

Point to one instance where Damian has flat out powered over a defender. Point to one instance where Damian has successfully carried the ball into heavy traffic.

It's happened  all season dumb Fox.....just rewind the NZ test and listen to what the commentators said about him smashing players onto their arses.
No Moz he did not miss either of those tackles the QF miss had nothing to do with him.

Disaster
"Damian is very strong in his legs, not his upper body. That changes how you use him. He is having trouble handling head on pressure both on attack and defence."
This is the biggest load of BS I have ever seen written by this ignoramus.  Ask Fransie when he tried to tackle in the Stormers-Sharks game twice  what made him land on his backside when he tried to tackle De Allende high whether it was his legs or upper body strength.   Ask Messam the same question about the match yesterday after he landed on his backside and badly so in yesterdays game.  How come the player who had the most tackle breaks in Super 15 this year (73) against Fransie's 9 has deficient upper body strength?
De Allende never misses head on tackles - his only misses came when he tried to tackle players from teh side where he mistimes his tackles or the players duck out.
Why persist with BS when the evidence is clear that you are talking that?

De Allende was much improved against the ABs compared to against Aus. I thought he carried strongly, keeping 4 ABs busy in one of his runs on Saturday (sending McCaw --edit correction: Messam & A. Smith-- flying ), while also showing the ability to stand strong in the tackle attempts of more than one AB at one point when he was fairly isolated and going to ground would likely have resulted in a turnover. His distribution also looked good. Yes, he is not decisive in defence and he either gets beaten or allows his opponent to make meters on the inside break too often. Some of the criticism here seems a bit harsh though. I think the guy is being hyped too much, but he is hardly a train wreck either. Let's see how he grows.

I must have been mistaken - I thought it was Messam that went flying - not McCaw.  Messam is physically must stronger than McCaw - but either way it was a strong response to a tackle attempt.
The issue of hype is present - but hype would follow the fact that he was virtually the only player in the Stormers backline who made a mess of opponents (inclusive of SBW and Nonu)  and he was a vast improvement on elements of center play in the last three games he played in.   What he did to Nonu yesterday was a sight to see.
Sure there are elements he can improve in - he is very young and the test yesterday was only his fifth test appearance.   I said repeatedly that he needs to improve his tackling - but as you said it is hardly a train smash.
You must appreciate that the real reason for the criticism of De Allende by Mozart and Disaster is that they are die-hard supporters of Francois Steyn - and the only way they can justify their support of Steyn is a flood of criticism of De Allende.

The idiot is making videos and adding false comments to it to try and BS members of this site - at least that is what he mentioned earlier under another thread.  His effort in that was badly exposed after the Aussie test - too many lies and false comments came to light - after which he went silent on that one.  Stupidity would not prevent him from doing it continuously afterwards and I am in fact looking forward to the joke he is going to come up with next.

Bottom line is that we have finally found our center pair ...

Now to get the rest of the team up to the same standard ... starting at prop and working our way down ...

You are wrong according to Mozart and Disaster.  According to them the center combination should be as follows:-
13  Jean de Villiers/Jacque Fourie12  Frans Steyn
Fransie is a key in their calculations - poor form in both defence and attack does not count and De Villiers is fine at 13 only if Fransie is at 12.  With De Allende at 12 - the move of Jean to 13 is not even to be a consideration.
That is the idiocy that leads to the present jeremiads by those two - and they are stupid enough to admit it from time to time.   When it is pointed out to Mozart that Fransie's statistical record is poor - he comes up with a gem that Fransie's stats do not reflect "his true value in the team".   Disaster is too dumb to understand anything about statistical evaluation, so his comment on that issue is farcical.   Blaas my siel.
However, in essence I agree with you about the center combination.  In future I would add Vorster to the mix as the third center option.

Mozart has lost that mental sharpness he once had. Actually, it's been missing for a number of years now so I wouldn't take anything he had to say seriously.

The less said about Disaster the better. Even a stupid Mozart is vastly superior to this imbecile.

Big fan of Vorster. One for the future if you ask me. Like to see him given a run outside De Allende.

A fit again Serfontein will add value and the likes of Vorster, Odendaal and Frans Venter were all on fire this S15 and all look test material to me.

I look at all facets of play and have myself said the two youngsters need to up the ante in defense.  But to just find fault with everything a player like De Allende did for ulterior reasons is  not my cup of tea.  Mozart and Disaster have been at De Allende for months now and constantly been trumping for Francois Steyn to be the inside center - hence my comment about ulterior reasons.  Your quote above really is applicable to Fransie - but it goes wider as well - it applies to all aspects of Fransie's performance.
The first response by Mozart on De Allende - when I raised his performances for WP two years ago  (without having seeing him play at all) was totally negative and nothing much has changed since then.  Think it may be a case of serious prejudice on his part he wants Fransie in the team at all costs .

Look i have had years of experience of dealing with obstinate and determined idiots like you.  It is normally better to ignore them - but in your case it is really a source of mirth because you pretend to know something of rugby and then come up with the most weird comments on players.
Look I have sen that test three times and is frankly not interested in viewing videos on it.  On all occasions I compared the drivel you wrote about incidents with what really happened and that was really the biggest load of twaddle I have ever seen - so far removed from reality it is unbelievable.   Nobody is interested in what you wrote - they had enough of that one.
I was hoping for you to come up with the AB test and see what you have to say about that.  Your comments would have been  seriously funny - but so far you seems to realize that you made a fool of yourself the previous week and his hesitant to come up with further idiocy.
Some members mentioned that you did have been a food evaluator of performances - and that would have been of interest to everyone - but recently your obsession with players you do not like and absolute stupidity on that score is seriously funny.  Your obsession with praising Fat Fransie and fatter Alberts - as well as useless Morne is not only funny - but a tragedy that is making people pity you.
