The farce in Sevens - NZ under pressure field 8 players again

NZ originally started this trick in Las Vegas three years ago against SA in the final.   There next effort in that regard was two years ago in Sydney.   They were again playing SA and the referee and nobody else did anything about it .
Today in the quarterfinal against Scotland NZ tried the same trick when they were caught out by the assistant ref.
 Why is NZ the only team in Sevens that use that trick when they are under pressure?

It's called cheating ... but in the New Zealand camp it called "their right".

They're special.

 ...and obviously had a massive impact on the game if we got our butt kicked..

 It stopped a Scotland attack by playing 8 players - taking possession of the ball.  When caught out the NZ team got penalized and the Scots scored the winning try stemming from that penalty.  

 ...my grandparents are Scottish so i always like to see them do well anyway so good for them..

 Lol you SA rugby supporters really are pathetic. And slightly hypocritical. SA players and teams have cheated a fair amount over the years. I mean your reffing in the Blues Stormers game was more then a little suspect. Yet you go on about kiwi refs ha! Yet Your all innocent. And we get away with murder. HA!

Everytime the 7's teams do this, the 15 man team should have to play with one less player. 

I've heard of not being able to count to 10....but never of not being able to count to 7.

 ...terrible for the side line officials to make such a blunder in allowing an extra player on the field......but the real burn for some Kiwis was losing to Scotland for the first time at any representative level since we started playing them in 1905...cannae say they had players with names like Jo Nayacovou way back then though..

Just guys like Eric Liddell.

 ...better news being announced today with NZ shifting the NZ Sevens round of the World Series north from Wellington to Chiefs country in 2018....party at the TRON

I am dying to go to a sevens tournament. Looks like a fat party! 

 If we're going to have one more team in Super rugby then it follows we'll be allowed one more player in 7s.NZ always thinking ahead of the game.....

 Im sick of NZ sevens they're rubbish. Taking NZ rugby to all kinds of new lows, its embarrassing for the Black jersey. The AB sevens should the Warriors sevens, far more representative than the All Blacks.
