...was one of the more amazing rugby occurrences this year. He went right through the Landers scrum.....the flank fell into the space the prop occupied. The supporting lock wheeled to the left....and the opposing prop was extracted out the back of the scrum. Never seen it before.
You can bet the Saders will be studying the options, and they are very good at working out tactics. Also Franks is a different animal...a powerful, street smart prop. So if Thomas starts next week, he may find things a lot harder. But the raw power seems to be there at a very young age for a prop.
To me in du Toit and Pollard we have finally unearthed some new talent that in time will be among the best in their positions.
