The Funny Story about the Rupert Stormers Takeover of the Stormers

So lets look at the long story.   When Anton Rupert decided to form his own business y he had to sell shares to raise the money to form the Rembrandt Cigarette Company.   Frans Malherbe had twin great aunts - one of whom got married and her husband died shortly afterwards.   The married one inherited 10 000 pounds - a fortune in the 1930's - and the twins decided to buy shares in Rembrandt for the full amount.
They were promptly put on the Board of Rembrandt and served on the Board for a while.  They were both Teachers and when they retired they  returned to Still Bay where they lived for the rest of their lives.    There they would walk from house to house begging for food.   They claimed great property.   When the last of the twins died she was worth R26 million.
All of that was held in shares of what is today Remgro,   So Frans Malherbe's great aunts made a major contribution to what is today Remgro.    Rupert should feel the obligation to put more money into WP.
