The last game revealed once again the SA rugby inability to play rugby.

NZ went on strike, they kept the ball and refused to play rugby. The effect was immediate: it put pressure on SA rugby.

SA rugby rely on attrition to bring down their opponent. They expect the other team to play rugby, their own efforts are focused on ruining their opponents'efforts.

SA rugby expect their opponents to exhaust themselves trying to play rugby for both sides.

NZ called out their bluff, they stated that on this day, they would not play rugby.

It would be up to SA rugby to play rugby. Of course, it exposed the side, they are unable to play rugby. So nothing happened.

With NZ on strike, there could not be rugby.

That is a major difference with IR. IR can play rugby.

This gave the exceptional series with two sides willing to test their own convictions about how the game must be played.

This cant be achieved when SA rugby are involved and the risk is that one day, the opponent behaves as NZ.
