Gurthrö STEENKAMP

Gurthrö STEENKAMP

South Africa
Born : 12/06/1981
1,86 m - 118 kg
International

Watch out phenomenon ! South African player of 2010, member of the Springboks, Gurthrö Steenkamp is the model modern prop. Tough and powerful in the scrum, he is also gifted with the faculty to move fast and with a very above average technique.

Precious for static phases, he is also a very good defense player and even sometimes a scorer.

He arrived in Toulouse in 2011, after the World Cup, and he did not disappoint. Even if he started only five matches because of some injuries throughout the season, he shone during the final against Toulon.

In 2012/13, the prop kept showing how powerful he was, causing serious damages in the opponent's defense. As he really enjoys life in Toulouse and at the club, we should see Gurthrö in the foreground for a long time.

For this 2013/14 season, even if he was gone for a long time because of the Four Nations with the Springboks, Gurthrö Steenkamp has already proved he is an essential player for Toulouse.

You have to laugh when posters make wild claims, and when exposed attack that poster as obsessed or sad. My advice to these discredited posters.....get your facts right.

No 4 Moron,  Zeromoron and Mo(zart)ron
So essential he is the bench player for Toulouse - that really is thick.   Would the Club say anyhing different?
Gurthro is not the prophe used to be and he was the real humiliation against the Argentinians.  This kind of BS is quoted as facts to pretend that Steenkamp deliver anything but embarrassment for the Springboks.  Only morons will make quotes like the above and swear he is still a Springbok player.
Here we have the unknown fourth moron -  Zeromoron and Mo(zart)ron (only Bon zo the Apemoron is Missing) - quoting something not supported by  factual pewrformances  for the Springbok team and trying to douse the criticism of the collapse of the Springbok scrum against the Pumas.   Despite all your ravings - that collapse by Steenkamp and Jannie will not be forgotten.

A bench player he says. Toulouse made it to the QFs of the HC. A make or break game in the competition. The team for Toulouse:

15    FB    Maxime Medard
14    W    Yoann Huget
13    C    Florian Fritz
12    C    Gael Fickou
11    W    Hosea Gear
10    FH    Luke McAlister
9    SH    Jano Vermaak
1    P    Gurthro Steenkamp
2    H    Christopher Tolofua
3    P    Yohan Montes
4    L    Yoann Maestri
5    L    Patricio Albacete
6    F    Yacouba Camara
7    F    Joe Tekori
8    N8    Louis Picamoles
          Replacements
16    R    Jaba Bregvadze
17    R    Cyril Baille
18    R    Schalk Ferreira
19    R    Romain Millo-Chluski
20    R    Gillian Galan
21    R    Jean-Marc Doussain
22    R    Lionel Beauxis
23    R    Clement Poitrenaud

I am not even going to bother showing you the rest of his appearances last season. It is going to go down the same route as the Bakkies/Ali Williams/Exeter fiasco. You have not followed the Toulouse season and you have do not know when he was out injured, rotated, etc. You have no clue and you do not know when to keep quiet.

BTW. Have you seen that your idol Glaasen may now at last get off the Racing Metro bench after Sexton suffered a broken jaw. That is unless they decide to keep him on the bench and start with someone else.

Moffie you are the last person to be advising anyone on facts that I can assure you.

As I said, it does not detract from the fact that Steenkamp is presently a massive insult to the Bok jersey and that it is an absolute disgrace that he is still in the squad.

As for Vlagshit, he has to be the saddest prick I know - imagine being that pathetic to retain all those historic posts or google an existing one
