Morne, came back to beat Oz last year....won everything . Jean , our best centresince readmission. . Victor ....constantly makes the list of the 5 top locks of all time. . Pietersen ...saved WC 2007 and solid for many years, ... All players with massive accomplishment vs wanabees.

Kak praat is 'n siekte in jou geval .   Mornwe lost the match in Perth for example.   He was shit in the Aussie match you refer to as well.  Missed  virtually 30% of his tackles in that game.
List on Matfiedld compiled by who?   You stooge.   He was great and was poor since 2014.   All the players were good in their younger years and turn to shit afterwards - but the age-maniac keep on supporting them,

Ignoring the troll.....the point here is we anoint young players and discard old players far too soon. It's obvious many of the listed players were catapulted into Bok colours without earning the honour. And they all flopped to a greater or lesser extent. Fans claim that quota selections affect our game and they do. But our naive promotion of perfectly ordinary young players like Venter does more damage. White had this right....there has to be a team that's supported. After a year in the wilderness one can see an attempt at stability ....unfortunately so many players in the current team wont make the grade.

 Here we have the idiot at it.  Nobody should discard players on the basis of age - they should be discarded  on the basis of continuous under-performance .   Unfortunately most of the experienced players - all supported by our local age maniac - was rubbish and should not have been in the squad last year.   
The players our local age maniac hates are constantly falsely accused of all kind of imaginary rubbish he invents - and outright lies are his forte.   There are some problems in team selection at present - and everybody seem to agree on those - but those he thinks should not be in is totally regardless of performances and the BS he spreads is general knowledge.    

This is the issue. This current Bok squad will not stand up against the 2007 squad. They would not stand up to the 2011 squad either. I know that it is impossible to prove and that it is my opinion but I'm quite confident that I'm correct. I don't think that there are many of them that would walk into any of the top eight sides in the world, if any. The sad part is that I do not see this squad even developing into a side that could take on the sides that I mentioned earlier. They might have one or two individuals that are good but as a team? No ways. I know that a team can only play as good as their opponents allow them but looking at the internationals that the Boks played in this far..... I don't have much hope. I have said a gazillion times that they can keep on changing Bok coaches and coaching teams till the cows come home but as long as you do nothing below Bok level, you cannot ever hope to move forward. Our current situation has nothing to do with the Bok coaches. It has everything to do with what goes on below the Bok squad. A few years ago I was ripped apart for daring to say something against our schools and under age rugby. Look where they are now. To fix SA rugby is going to take a lot of creative thinking and hard work.

Rassie? How long and what is he going to change? What has he done in the years that he was supposed to sort out the succession planning (if you could call it that) for the Boks? Oh wait. I forgot. He has "a brilliant rugby brain" and he beat the Blue Bulls in a CC final back in the day when Moses went to Sunday School in shorts and when Aaron was playing flyhalf for Diggers.

 The quota system for school teams omn proivincial level allows for 9 players of colour and 6 whites out of the starting 15 and a similar percentage on the bench.   That is 2what is destroying schools rugby and let to the recent disaster.
It is only a fool that comes up with the hard work and creative thinking story - the real problem si with the quota system.   As long as that system persist rugby in SA will go the soccer way,  
There was no creative thinking amongst the previous coaches of the provincial outfits other than with the Lions set-up.    On national level Meyer and Coetzee are birds of a feather with the bird brain thinking shared between the two.   Creative thinking amongst them was impossible.

I don't think there are too many people left who think Rassie Erasmus will be this saviour of SA rugby. I think it's just Baboon-ou left who thinks that . . . which pretty much says it all!

I was actually thinking that myself while typing that, Rooinek, but I suppose it was one of those "I want to say something and I'm going to say it" moments but point taken.

If we picked a global top 3 for each position none of our backs would make it....ironically Jantjies at 10 may be closest. My candidates for top 3 globally would be: 3 The Beast 2 Marx 4 Etzebeth And that's it. So if that's about right we have 3 players in the top 45 in the world......that kind of participation is not what one would expect of a top 3 team. Which means we have a very good team dynamic, and if you don't buy that it means we are over-ranked at this point.

When I made the remark about any of our players who could make it into any of the world top eight sides, I was thinking along the lines of Marx and Etzebeth only. I wouldn't even think that Beast would just walk into any of those sides that easily.

 Kitshoff is miles ahead of Beast and is top class.   

He would be third of my three candidates Vlag. But he was strong against the Bargies.

 Beast was iffy at the best most of the time.  He was good in two scrums for the rest he was iffy.   But he is old enough to be rated by Mozart - so lets treat it as one of his normal jokes.

 Well Koch just scored under the posts for Sarries vs Northampton. Seems to be doing well. I would pick him ahead of Coenie any day. 5 WP players on the pitch LOL!

Well you always had a Koch spot for soft...er...a soft spot for Koch. My concern with Coenie and Koch is they have folded under pressure when the Bok scrum was going back. When that starts happening...as we saw in Oz vs NZ it can lead to a series of game changing penalties. And it's hard to predict when it will manifest itself, but the chances are it will. I'd rather go for Wilco who to date has never shown that weakness.

 I like Wilco too...not many quality 3's around. Koch is still young for a prop. If he comes back to SA he'll play for the Boks again.
