Huge war cemeteries there in France, stretch as far as the eye can see.

Can't beat an Irish accent in that song  ,let's see them this next weekend on the field.

The Green Fields of France is the best ever anti war song you will ever hear. When sung by The Fureys is so special . Do yourselves a favour and take a listen.

True Mr Draad ,13 dead All Blacks and quite a few other test players from around the world lie buried in France ,more than enough for a BaaBaas vs Abs game unfortunately.

I have a documentary here somewhere about sport on the battlefield including soccer games during the 1914 Christmas truce and rugby matches of course .NZ Army teams played SA teams in the Western desert and my Grandfather recalled playing against the Aussies as well as them playing scratch games behind the lines whenever they had the energy and opportunity.
