What did the folks who voted for Trump stand to loose.....nothing.
Obama is no different to any Head of State in Africa...same policy of hands outs and blaming the white folks for everything. Racial tension in America is at an all time high with guys like Sharpdon, Holder, Jackson all stoking the racial fires and Obama adding his few cents worth as well.
If all the folks who stated that they would leave the USA if Trump was elected leave it would be the a very positive move for the USA but unfortunately those creeps could not have the same standard of life anywhere but in the USA and are all mouth and no action.
Trump will turn the country around and all population groups will reap the benefits of his leadership.

Obama took over a country on the edge of ruin & things improved slowly over his presidency. I don't recall him apportioning blame based on race. In terms of handouts, they are called bailouts when they are given to the rich.
The Bush Presidents got the US into the mess in the middle east & things got worse but he cannot be held solely responsible. The US has had far less problems with terrorism (except for home grown terrorists) than Europe has so security hasn't been too bad. 
And some of the Tr@ump supporters have exhibited deplorable behavior. Tru@ump will start to reduce the rhetoric he used on the campaign now that he has to govern and signs are that he needs to as there are some very shocking things going on now.

 Hillary called the people who support Tr ump  "deplorables" which is probably why more voters turned against her as well.
Lets face facts the standard of living of mostly the working class people has deteriorated in the USA and the UK and the Government did very little to help them.   Matter of fact is the Democratic Party in the USA and the Labour Party in the UK lost the support of the working class because of that situation - hence the hatred of many of the people for the political ad economic establishments.  
The next test for the establishment political interests would be in the presidential election in Austria and the elections in the Netherlands and France next year.   
In France the popularity rating of Hollarde is now down to 4%.   The reason for that is that the working blue collar workers have deserted the Socialists and Communist Parties and is now more in the Le Pen party.   When I spoke to a French friend of mine - his opinion was that Le Pen had a massive chance to win the election in France.
The situation has really very little to do with racism and everything to do with the fact that too many people think they are being neglected by their Governments and that applies to people of all races.    That is why a call on the DP to Latinos and African Americans vote for Clinton and was not heeded by 32% of the Latino voters and 8% of the AM voters.   
Matter of fact is that the racist propaganda mostly came from the DP in the recent election.   If Tr ump did what he vows to do - namely to help the AM population in the USA - which he claimed was grossly neglected by the DP - the next election is likely to see them stopping their support for the DP - who was using them as voting fodder and then left them in the lurch.  
In the case of SA there was a number of Local Government by-elections held on Wednesday.   I have evaluated the outcomes and the indications are that the signs are alarming for the ANC.   Although there was a normal 20% lower  turnout than in the August election the negatives for the ANC was -
*   that in the wards they won the by-elections they had 46086 votes in the August election as against 21123 votes on Wednesday;
*   in the seat in Polokwane where the EFF won the ward in August with 49% support they won the ward this time around with 54% support; and
*   in the Northern Cape the DP won a seat in the one Municipality with 50% of support in August - on Wednesday they won the ward with 70.2% support.
In all the above cases the ANC support collapsed by at least 30% - so one has to wonder what is going to happen next.

People are no longer throwing their support behind the ruling parties. They're tired of the same old horsesh!t.

I think there will be major changes made by Tr ump - but that some ideas will remain.  He cannot just walk away from the working class and there are other players in the game as well - eg Senators like Rubio and Cruz - who will not allow him to do an about-turn insofar as the working class is concerned.
There will be crucial issues that need to be addressed if the Republican Party is to survive.  
By the way - the same negative views was expressed by the media when Reagen became President - yet he was the best US president in the 20th century.

I'm all for change but it's a different world to the time of RR. The dead cities need to be revived....it's never going to happen. The glory days of GM and Ford and a bubbling manufacturing industry has been superseded by robotics. It is cheaper to import. We suffer the same problems in Oz. How on earth is Tr.ump going to turn it around so the working class man can benefit? Politicians cannot be trusted and they'll say anything to get a vote. You misunderstood what I wrote.  I said that Tr ump cannot betray the trust the voters put in him by becoming a dunce of the establishment.   And Cruz and Rubio knows what is happening and will Take Tr ump to pieces if he surrenders to the liberals.  
The two Senators will support Tr ump if he follows up on his promises - otherwise they will not follow him.

I am fairly liberal in outlook - but I am also a realist.   Liberal Governments in recent decades did a horrible on the people they govern.   They became an elite that did not do what they said they would do when elected.   In many countries the working class people realized that and is turning against the governments whom they blame for their problems.
