So now we have the latest Coetzee idiocy:-
15 Willie le Roux, 14 Ruan Combrinck, 13 Francois Venter, 12 Damian de Allende, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Patrick Lambie, 9 Rudy Paige, 8 Warren Whiteley, 7 Willem Egg-Laying Alberts, 6 Nizaam Carr, 5 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 4 Lood de Jager, 3 Vincet Koch, 2 Adriaan Strauss (c), 1 Tendai Mtawarira
16 Bongi Mbonambi, 17 Stephen Kitshof, 18 Trevor Nyakane, 19 Franco Mostert, 20 Oupa Mohoje, 21 Faf de Klerk, 22 Elton jantjies, 23 Johann Goosen
So what can we expect from that concoction - note I do it call it a team. What is Habana do their again - he was piss poor against the AB's and is way past his best.
Lambie is way out of form and the question is why is Goosen not starting . Guess is that he does not want to play the idiot game Coetzee expect from a flyhalf.
Page was piss poor last week - he routinely goes absent from the field of play.
Whenever Nizaam Carr played this year he was average to poor - could at times not even make the Stormers starting line-up. Red-hot in 2014 - ice cold ver since.
The rotten egg-layer enough said - what can one add to justify the selction of that useless species.
Trevor Nyakane and Oupa Mohoje is so poor they are not even good enough to play on Super Rugby.
Jantjies does not have big match temperament.
This is the worst selections imaginable and if that concoction lose the game it would be easy to identify who caused it.

Mostert is a midget and will make no impact at international level. Mohoje is hopeless. A no impact player from the bench.Bongi is decent- but not international standard.
Goosen needs to start at 10. The Boks looked much better with him starting.
I suspect Lambie may become Bok captain next year- although Pollard may be considered as captain as well.

As bad as Meyer was- at least he did take notice about what the public was saying- and this did influence his selections.Meyer started badly and finished badly- but his Boks were ranked number 2 for most of his reign.

Meyer, like snorre before him, did nothing major to blood new talent at all. The Boks are depleted. We will get better with a real coaching team...in a few years...not much better though .

There is no new talent....HM chose every conceivable newbie, and those he missed like Whiteley and Kleintjie Kriel have been selected by AC. There is no new talent. That's what has simply not sunk in.
The proof of the pudding is in our atrocious record in Super Rugby, Sevens Rugby....Age Group Rugby.

We have a poor coach and worse players than our real competition. We can surely improve by changing the coach.....he is not a leader of men. But only so much, unless we find some new players who really want to compete and have the physical assets to do so. Pinning our hopes on limited players like Kleintjie Kriel, Goosen, Venter and Whiteley is simply naive.

Maybe one day the Stormers and Sharks will be bought by someone like the French Club owner/s- and SARU could be run like a company with shareholders.
The coaching in South Africa has certainly fallen behind in world rugby. The South African playbook- bar the Lions and Cheetas is to kick and chase, with crashball as the only variation
Not skills are developed playing this way. The result is aimless donkeys

This is a typical sick argument by a typical sick Mozart and his cronies. The big read was the new players Meyer brought in. How many tests did these new players played?
Most of them played less than 5 tests and often enough it was only one test - even only playing from the bench. In 2012 Meyer tried 14 of the Bulls 15 front line players as Springboks, Some were Springboks before - most were one game ponies.
By the time the WC came along the squad comprised of 14 players over 30 years of age and due to sudden withdrawals from international rugby coupled to gross unfitness there were three withdrawals that would have made it 17. Other than Etzebeth, Willie le Roux, Coenie Oosthuizen and Vermeulen - most of the players in the WC squad brought in by Meyer had less than 5 games as Springboks.he-hill lot he used
The above implies that Meyer was in fact totally devoid in building up a reasonable test squad. The tired and over-the-hill players he used delivered an ultimate disaster against Japan. That is the real truth - not the BS spouted by Mozart and co.
The Japan disaster followed a disastrous EOYT in 2014 and a worse RC tournament in 2015. That included losses in all three RC games played and the cause was directly linked to Meyer's madness in not building up a squad.
The other foolishness was to try and play Bulls rugby of 2004 and Jake-ball against teams that trumped that easily,
So what happened after Meyer's deserved dropping as coach? They got the equally bad Coetzee as coach, His team selection was a variation of crazy selections - playing players out of their positions and picking players who should never been in the squad. The total absence of a game plan represented Jake-ball at its best.
To then come up with a bland and stupid statement that there is no players with talent to be picked is typically of the idiots on this site. Sure there were some players who were picked and then deservedly did not make the grade. But that was not the end of the story.
Who were the real flops in Coetzee's selections? Look no further than Pietersen, Habana, De Jongh, Morne Steyn, Paige, Mohoje and Alberts. Were they from the flavor of the day players that Mozart always spouted about? No - they were the dregs from the Meyer era. They were mostly reputation players without any merit to be in the team.
The attack on any ew players brought in is typically Mozart and his undeserving cronies. This has been his normal and repetitive contributions since 2012 - nothing new here. If the need arises he invests situations to blame new players and he covers up the deficiencies by his experienced players he so adores.
One has yet to read anything positive about any younger players - and one has to yet get any honesty and objectivity from the crowd of idiots who writes on this site.

You will forever have guys like Ceradyne, a passionate Bulls supporter, who sings along at the top of his voice when Loftus plays "Maak al the die Bulle Bokke" ... telling us tall tales of the wonderful Meyer.
He will give us arm length lists of all Meyer's done for SA rugby ... but the truth of it all is that he's a failed coach.
He was responsible for the loss to Japan and that will ALWAYS be his legacy ... and since his term at Bulls has amounted to nothing in his chosen profession.
Meyer blooded the useless. He blooded the talentless. He had no idea what actual talent looked like and because of his utter incompetence we find ourselves in this situation today.
At least he has his "integrity" ...
Back to Coetzee's picks. I find it rather interesting that Coetzee and his ignorance thought it best to drop Mozart's hero, Willem "Egg Layer" Alberts , entirely from the match 23.
We were all told of his high match stats and yet he's a goner.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaaa!!!
I wonder if we'll EVER see his chubby chops run out for the Boks again ...

Mozart - the worst ever at flyhalf was Fat Fransie for the Sharks - his stats proved that - followed by Morne Steyn. Even if Lambie tried he could not be worst than those two players who have no ide about thinking rugby. Donkey-kicking of balls is their only game plan - irrespective of how aimless, poor and thoughtless the kicking is.

Tokkie you simply quote the stats you want to quote. The real Frans/Sharks stats show the Sharks had their best win record under Frans in 2014, far better than under Lambie. In fact no Super team had a better record than Sharks/Frans over the period he was at 10.
So stop just making it up Poof.

There is a dfference which you never appreciates. A team can win despite the under-par performance of single players. The stats at 10 of Fat Fransie was sick and a real reason why White was fired and Fat Fransie's contract was not renewed. He was contrrated for three years with SARU and they just did not want him anymore.
Sorry Mozart - you are besotted by a very average player - who showed promise earlier in his career and deteriorated amazingly afterwards.

If we don't have the talent how is it that 250(read that somewhere) SA lads are contracted abroad while still leaving enough behind to make it to the SR final?
The problem in SA is brains. We lack it. Stand around the average braai on a Saturday and compare the level of conversation to that which you may have had at dinner in the UK, Oz or the US and you'll notice a stark contrast in the level to which people of similar education are able to compare ideas or problems and think critically about solutions.
I fear Jake White was correct.
There is an IQ divide between the races unfortunately. But, even when comparing South Africans with European ancestry to present day Europeans, our guys score an average of 10 points less. Lol we are roughly 9% stupider than the poms :/
Just looked the way we use language. Anything but the most basic of English spoken in SA is regarded as being posh. Many Afrikaaners speak such bad Afrikaans that without substituting many words with English words they'd struggle to communicate.
I did a an experiment with a friend once, at a casino. I told him to name the random images that appeared on a slot machine's rollers, in Afrikaans. While I could name each image in English he struggled to name half in his native tongue. And these were pictures of simple things like statues, jewelery, types of animals and so on. Ask an Afrikaans person to tell you the full name of the USA or VSA in Afrikaans and see how many can. I'm not picking on Afrikaans people. Our English population are saved only by the fact that most of our entertainment is English.
How many people like that do we have in SA though? People who speak two or more languages, yet badly? Very many. One only needs to listen to the radio for five minutes before the person speaking makes some kind of blunder. Problem solving requires familiarity with a a range of concepts and unfortunately if one doesn't know the word for a concept then it's pretty likely that you don't understand the concept either.
Here. Ask just five South Africans today if they know what the following words mean and I bet you that less than one in five will give you the correct explanation for both.
1. Dichotomy
2. Entropy
Better yet, ask them to explain the difference between sarcasm and irony. The vast majority won't be able to. It's bloody frightening.
I think that's our biggest problem. We're just not smart enough.
Ja ja let me hear all about how I think I'm so clever blah blah blah.
19 Nov 2016, 07:25#27
Oh brother ... I thought we only had to contend with the pompous and arrogant Mozart ... but it seems we're blessed with another special member.
We've already heard how wonderful he is ... having already settled the debt to his home and several vehicles. He speaks 10 different languages and travels the globe regularly.
I wonder ... do you think we should bow in reverence?
Well Poepol ... now that you're done telling us how wonderful you are ... again ... when you speak of us being near on 10% thicker than the average European, I take it you've included all the different races, huh? ... all the different people that make up our nation?
Does that included the Zumas and the Malemas of the country ... one of whom thinks that a mere shower after raping an aids infected woman will safe guard him from the virus. The very same person went on television and told the world that one could fit all the continents of the planet into Africa.
Is he also part of your objective assessment?
How about Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma? Is she part of your assessment too? Apparently all one needs is to eat beetroot to cure aids in this country.
How about all those backward folks of the black race who claimed that one can cure yourself of the virus by raping a toddler ... and so brought about mass toddler rapes, many of them resulting in painful deaths?
Is that the kind of intellect you're referring to? All mushed together with mine?
Thabo Mbeke said that HIV and Aids is a death sentence designed by the white man to cull the black population. How about him? Is he part of the assessment too?
As a whole I guess we are a lot thicker than most other nations ... but one has to be fair and break it down to certain population groups ... point out who and what people dilute the average so dramatically.
It is not fair that you paint us all with the same brush.
Tell me ... did you try your little experiment on a black mate as well? How about a coloured or an Indian or is your target only the whitey ... specifically the Afrik@@ner?
What a hypocrite. And I'm supposedly the racist here.
Just remember one thing, you pompous pr!ck ... that while you're sitting in your paid off palace, sipping gin and tonics ... you still have that crack pipe on the table beside the decanter to remind you of your class ... of your breeding. You still slobber a puddle at the thought of your girls sphincter.
So do me a favour ... don't make yourself out to be better than me or anyone else. You and I both know what you really are.
Kapeesh?
