Actually, all attack numbers under Meyer were better, in every single year. His 2015 WC campaign had a higher output, and he better utilised Willie. So, it's quite funny that we come full circle, and find that Rassie is - by your definition - a talent destroyer. Why else would RG be reluctant to make offloads? He is the best offloader in the game, but he comes to the Boks, in the WC and the well runs suspiciously dry. Why is that? Not only that, the entire team is reluctant to offload. A very basic patchwork gameplan is to blame. Rassie is the Solkjaer of the coaching world.
