and his scrumming against the Rebels where he was apparently dominated and best of all popped at one point........I have never read so much shit in all my life.
Just watched the scrums again and could not believe the lengths some posters go to bullshit their way to making a deceitful point.....its disgusting.
Well here are the facts about the scrums on that day......the Bulls dominated or held firm in the scrums. At no point was Marcel beaten, not even close. The only time the Bulls scrum conceded a step was when they had 7 in the scrum after the Willemse yellow.
So on to the scrums:
Minute 13, Bulls ball - Bulls dominate with forward momentum, pushing the Rebels scrum backwards
Minute 17 - 7 man Bulls scrum without Willemse. Bulls scrum stands firm with penalty being awarded to Bulls - that with 7 men
Minute 22 - still without Willemse, Rebels push Bulls back, but Bulls counter and push the Rebels back
Minute 34 - Rebels ball, no movement from either side - rock solid parity
Minute 36 - Rebels ball - same as previous scrum - parity
Minute 44 - Bulls ball, Bulls dominate with go forward
Marcel and Mellett leave in after 50 min, replacements in the Rebels frontrow as well
Marcel was a solid as ever at scrum time, dominating his opposite number twice and never conceding once.
Complete and utter lies written against this player........check the Youtube footage for yourselves
