The Lions are apparently weak
yo
who said they were weak?
Its hilarious. Side splitting stuff. I think these two have reached the point of no return. They will spin everything to make Rassie look bad no matter what.
Kristie won a RWC cu. Great coach. Jake White win a RWC. Great coach. Rassie wins a RWC but he is no good.
I actually think the Lions have more fire power and ability. I've already stated that. But, no other Lions side has been so easily undone by aimless highballs. This Lions side is weaker than even the 2005 side. The quality of rugby overall is very poor.
Okay Dave who in the Lions would be in the joint Bok/Lions team. Feel free to chime in HasBeen.
Saffex, the Boks will be the best side in the world when they can beat the ABs on a regular basis.
Winning the RWC 2 year's ago doesn't mean they are the best team now, or were then even.
The Lions have no outside centre, ordinary half backs, poor props, no power lock. They are a vulnerable ordinary team with no real game plan….and amateurish execution. And where they have strengths, wings, fullbacks and loosies they have executed poorly.
In a Lions jumper Hogg looks like a poor club player.
Take the kicking game. Time and again they put up high kicks with chasers who knocked the ball 10, 15 metres back on the Lions side….but nobody trailed the move to secure the ball. So more often than not a trailing Bok secured the ball.
This is a combination of 15 players very few of them who are equal to their Bok counterparts, without a real game plan, who haven’t built a team understanding….with a real vulnerability in the scrums. Nyakane isn’t suddenly a Superman.
And the genius Erasmus actually contrived to lose to them.
Saffex, what was the score the last time the Boks played the ABs??
Short memory??
Please also remember that the ABs back 3 are pretty good at catching the high ball, so where does that leave Rassie's plan of just kick, kick and kick some more?
Hahahahahhaha on and on it goes. The only certainty we have is that Rassie will never get any credit no matter what. Such is the unbalanced bigoted mind. If Rassie wins the opposition is poor is the latest hit piece.
Rassie took the errors made by Berry , all 26 of them I think it was, and signaled very clearly the fate of a ref daring to shaft the Boks . It was done clearly, calmly and professionally. Having seen Kolisi disrespected before he spoke to Berry pre match and asked that this not be the case in the first test. Berry chose to ignore that so Rassie acted. He stood up like the 35 test capped Bok he is, a man with a backbone , and let them have it.
Our luke warm Bok supporters immediately collapsed. You cant stand up for teh Boks like this Rassie. We could be called nasty names by some they wail. Hahhahahahahaahha talk about snowflakes!! How to stop all this they wonder. Well lets accuse Rassie of playing the race card and paint him as a racist. That always works. Well it hasn't and never will thanks to Rassie's amazing clip.
I agree with Saffex there is no such thing as a weak Lions side. Any series win against a Lions outfit is a good win. Some Lions sides are marginally better than other but none are weak.
Theoretically if we had the worlds 23 best players and the Lions the second best 23 players would that make the Lions a weak side. Obviously not. So again their dumb argument about few Lions players making the Bok side is utter horse manure!
Give us Snyman, Thor and Lood etc back to full match form and lets see how we go against the wee abs. Time to rip them a new one.
Rassie please do not hesitate to expose the next crooked ref that comes along! Make the Brycy Lawrence cheats tremble in their boots! Hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha man I love the way Rassie is operating.
Tell them the facts and if they don't like it too bad. Sunlight is a great disinfectant. T he whole rotten ref edifice of cheating bias etc must come tumbling down.
So Congrats also to Keo for manning up!
The All Blacks still have the best backline world rugby, but their pack is average. I think both the Lions and Bok forwards will crush them.
Referees are penalizing the All-Black "pack" much more often nowadays, and that is how to beat them. Put lots of pressure on them, get lots of penalties and play the game in their half.
Have lots of lineouts and scrums and tire the All-Black pack out on the first and second phase plays.
In some games, the Bok backline runs the ball, but there does need to add more variety than just up and under's. The 2nd line that the Boks form with Leroux at 2nd receiver is usually effective and needs to be done more often.
The Bok wingers are the best finishers in the game. They need more opportunities.
Dave
It you add together Mozart and the Kindergarten Imbecile's comments you can come up with the fact that it is contrary and really BS in buckets.
This is the same argument they raised in the 2019 RWC. There ploy was to refer only to the Springbok loss in the AB game ad say that SA should never have been in the final since the Welsh deserve to win in the semi. After the easy England win over the AB's the English in the same week became so weak a team and that is why sa won.
Now the two claim the Lions is a weak side - and despite SA being poor on Saturday they managed to beat the poor Lions team on Saturday.
So whenever the poor Springbok team under the present coaching set-up win - they do not deserve the win since the opposing team was worse than the poor SA team. The logic ois absent and the BS are overflowing the big hole of Kimberly.
So I repeat which Lions would make a joint Bok/Lions team…not one according to you Dave. Or perhaps you might include Watson?
You would never have reached that conclusion for ANY of the prior Lions squads.
Ergo they are a particularly weak Lions outfit with competent but no dominating players. It’s simple logic. Contradict me if you can.
Or the Boks are better than what you give them credit for?...we win ugly, but we win again...hope we can take the series...ugly or not. We need it.
The Boks are poor, now is that because of coaching, substandard players or both. That the Boks are poor, yet the Lions were overcome, would one think the Lions are especially strong? Think carefully.
I fail to understand the language of BS used by both Mozart and the Kindergaraten Imbecile. They us ot to twist English in such a way that is totally illogical. A p[opor team whwon the WC by a wide margin against a poorer team - a poor team won the test on Saturday againsta poorer team.
That is totally illogical and in fact lunacy. So a poor team coached by a poor coach is weaker than the teams under two coaches who were fired because of rank incompetence who were better coached than the present team - despite the fact that under these two coaches they set a record in SA rugby in losing against Japan and Italy.
It seems a terrible weekend for the two. In the world there is no team that is not poor so why is the game still played on international level?
All said and done the second test was a boring game.
With a ton of rule changes being enforced on the players and the up and under kicking being the style of rugby delivered in most matches it is going to kill the game.
Nothing beats the old "Ruck" type of game.
The Boks can't open it up, and the Lions are hell bent on beating the Boks at their game. It hasn't work. The Lions must man up as they did in the first 60 and open it up themselves. Force the Boks to soak up phase after phase of pressure. There are so many weak defenders in this team only an imbecile would avoid targeting them. They've got nothing really to lose. The Boks will do the same thing again. Better try something different, and think up a plan for those up and unders. Maybe let the Bok have it and power over him in 2s and 3s for the penalty. Take the kick away and watch the Boks crumble.
"any of us"
You speak for the entire board Unteromlett? Write any more lists?
So Augie provides a totally unique perspective agree or disagree. And Dave would rather read Mike’s drivel and make lists. The old human propensity to out the person not marching in lock step. Copernicus had the same problem.
Look Trev naai 'n kan has really impressed me. What he did on Saturday against well known scrummagers were amazing. Look how many points we got against there scrum.
Of course Rassie bombs the ball hoping for 'n knock on, get the scrum and get 'n penalty. He is looking at how can get points and how to bank them.
I'm sure the boks would play 'n different game when it came to championship where you need bonus points.
They proved back in 2019 when they won it!!!! That they can throw the ball around.
The lions series is a classic test where you don't need bonus points. Just win.
Nobody cares about the score, if it was by 1 or 100. Just that we won
The fact is a side that hadn't played much rugby at all and had a rotten ref against them lost by a mere 5 points.
The following week with a decent ref they clobber the Lions .
Brilliant effort by Rassie and the Boks.
It must be lousy to have to criticize the coach and team that you claim to support day in and day out.
Worse still your comments belong in the loonie bin.
Go and support the Lions and have done. Its like the GOP needing to get rid of those Rino traitors.
Away with mozzzz and the Org. You will get no sense out of them:
But we won the “A” game the week before with many of the same players and the same opposition and we weren’t undercooked.
The refs broke even …..Watson should have been red carded in the 1st. Test and sadly Kolbe should have been red carded in the second test….not because it’s right but because it’s custom.
There is still no satisfactory explanation why a ‘genius’ lost the first test with overwhelmingly superior players. I mean look at who is supporting you, senile Mike and HasBeen Ou who believes everybody who has taken the vaccine will die in 2 years.
Br/Ire Lions are weak...biggest idiots ....hahahaha.
They are never weak...if they were why do the AB's and Boks before skurry around to find combinations to beat them... I've been around several Lions tours and never have these series been taken lightly.
Some balanced knowledgeable rugby guys know it...but Ruckers has it's village, contentious idiots imposed uninvited by the table provider with the most i nedible rugby food...layers of it.
So Chabal who would you replace in the Bok team with a Lion. Just the specifics please.
We all know this but we are dishonest egoistical fool/critics. .
Weak Lions side, what a joke.
Yep it contained guys like Liam Williams, Bundi and Faletau being touted for decider, and many of the Lions better players like Watson, Murray, Itoje and Farrell.
Try again.

Chabal just the specifics….don’t be a yellow livered coward…..tell us which Lions are good enough to replace a Bok.
Which Ferrari part can replace a Masserati or Mercedes. It's the whole that counts...not parts.
"You make my point Draad…..the Bok players are better man for man in almost all 15 positions…and Erasmus loses the first test. You can’t have it both ways."
Covid disruptions and lack of match fitness for a number of key players...it's obvious.
