I know the usual immature moaning about unfavourite players like Morne, will be heard. Hell the crowd booed the poor guy when he was taking the best options to win the test. We hadn't beaten tackles all game, so the best shot was to get  the ball deep. That said something needs to change about his goal kicking.

Obviously Heyneke has no faith in the youngsters....Potgieter off in a hurry and Jantjies glued to the bench. Right on both counts. Potgieter looked like the typical Deysel dumb muscle....Coetzee is a far smarter player.

Aplon tackled brilliantly, JP was forceful, Habana quiet apart from one super high ball take.

In the centres Olivier didn't do much , but it was probably still his best test. Jean was quiet apart from one brilliant break.....where is his support, it's never there.

Hougaard was right back to the first test malaise. Pienaar improved things, except in that last phase set, when he was sooooooo painfully deliberate.

The front row was solid. Etzebeth ok....Kruger though, is no Matfield replacement. Kankowski injected some mongrel when he came on, and Spies went right back to doing nothing.

Bok villian of the day has to be Werner Kruger whose belly flop into the ruck could have gifted the Poms the game....but certainly ruined our chances.

During the week I raised the spectre of the Lions third test, when injuries and reduced motivation handed us an unwelcome loss. So it turned out, only this time we scraped a draw.

But if we ask ourselves the only important question after playing these chumps.... ie are we a better team than the side that faced Oz in the RWCQF........the answer has to be, nope, I don't think so.

Moz, Moz, Moz, lets keep it real. look at who is out injured!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coenie, Bekker, Alberts, Schalk, Vermuelen Frans, Lambie. Surely that is huge. Then we know Morne's kicking has been bad.

Fact is Meyer plan depends on wining the gainline battle. With these forwards back that should not be a problem.Bench can be very much better.

Wonder what will happen re the half backs. Hougie is not a natural scrummie. Pienaar does have vision but is not assertive enough. However when the forwards are on top all is well.

Bean Brain you forgot to blame the ref. Injuries aside and all the other usual excuses the ref was a kiwi so he deserves some credit for disrupting your plans for world domination does'nt he ?

There are going to be plenty of tears in August when this team plays serious opposition. I know there is a natural inclination for anybody but PdV. Fair enough! But our Boks still have no ability to penetrate against an organized defence......that killed us against Oz and it will again. We are not making progress.

sorry brycy I forgot to comment on stevie's incompetence beciase for a nz ref he made less than a dozen blunders. Bwahahahahahahaha

No I am concentrating on what needs improving. We need injured players back and the half back combo mended.

I am giving meyer until the end of next year as I said by which time we should be starting to see that domination taking shape. This rich vein of under  22 players will take a  year or even two to hit their straps. But it will be an upward curve as all will see brycy mark my words will ya.

Meyer has only just begun with no time to prepare and a plethora of injuries so well done Bokke!

Brycy....being a NZer does place a burden on someone we all know.

He ain't the best ref around but at least he had the sense to move to OZ.

Can't blame a person for trying to improve their lifestyle.

Shame!
