Let me first state that looking at the SA team it is clear they have poor skills and less coaching. The backline - even with Bosch - has been toothless and of spilling balls routinely. Same goes with the loosie combination.
This team is an example of where your rugby is going - down the drain. We have potential players of ability - but selection is centered on anything but merit.
What happened today is what we can expect on 8 June 2017. I cannot see how selection on basis other than performance can be successful. One thing which is clear is that Bosch will be back in SA soon - but based on his performance today it will not be a great advantage for the Sharks - let alone higher level teams.

did not catch the game but gone through the team line up and the physical attributes of the players. It looks like the back line is made of inferior players and no really big strike runners that can get the guys over the advantage line.
Agree that our talent is going backwards at a rate of nots and soon we will no longer rely on our talent conveyer belt due certain players being omitted.
In the whole back line I think Bosch is probably one of the bigger players.
Agree on the the coaching setup that it is a sham. Since Rassie has left the whole thing is falling apart.
We have clear talent identification and I can't see any of these players moving on to great honours. You would think that any of these players should walk into any super rugby team in the next 2 - 3 years.

Was a draw Mike, wasn't a great perfomance, hopefully we grow into the tournament.

Sorry
I changed channel two minutes before the end of the game and did not look up the final score.

Besides having a shaky start to the WC we can only hope and pray that their game improves.
Trust they will gel and provide us with the performance that I am sure they are capable of.

No loss only a well fought draw...the baby French are a well thought of side...Funny enough France was uncharacteristic favourites to win this game...must be a very good side and therefore a draw with pressure is not a disgrace...we'll soon see what the rest of the young rugby world has to offer!

The year Bosch played Craven Week for EP, WP trashed EP in the zCW final....beeg margin. How many WP players was in the team today. Not trying to promote WP here, but last I checked there weren't many in the U20 squad and one would think that's odd?

There's no much in our sport these days to get excited about ... apart from the Lions.
I'm not the biggest cricket fan and yet I find myself holding thumbs for them.
I guess we're all starved for a little good news on the sports field.
