Yep, for far too long we have failed to run at our opponents. I really enjoyed that late run of De Allende, when he rounded the defender in the way wings used to do....only seconds after the commentators dumped on van Wyk for trying to do the same thing. If we  lose wings giving it a go, and have them always turning inside....we have lost the most glorious sight in rugby.

Burger has the ability and understanding of the game to get to breakdown points and do ball protection and recovery - while at the same time carry the ball and know when and how to make passes.   He showed it yesterday.   Those elements set him way above the slowe. clueless and non-functional Alberts at 7. 
He had a very good game yesterday with only one problem - his tackling was a bit problematic - too many missed tackles. 
De Allende is a very good player - basically an inside center - who can play at 13 and 14 as well.   My Springbok center combination would be De Villiers and De Allende - with Le Roux and Habana on the wing and Jordaan on the bench to cover both the wing and center situation.  
As things stand I would play Mvovo at full back and leave Pietersen on the bench.
That leaves the position of flyhalf to be considered.   I would either play Lambie or Goosen in that position - for a backline to function properly we need thinking flyhalfs - not dolts like Morne and Francois Steyn.
I like what I have seen of Pretorius at scrummie this year and Hougaard yesterday had a much improved game.   
The June tests would be an excellent scenario to see what that combination of players can produce - and if I was Meyer I would go for that combination.           

De Allende is "basically an inside centre" who has played all his best games on the wing.

Not so - De Allende played very well at inside center as well - matter of fact I will rather see him as a center not a wing - where he will be wasted if we do not get the 13 position correctly filled.  I would prefer him at 13 where we have serious problems at present.  I cannot see Engelbrecht at 13 - he has no attacking skills - neither has Fourie - who is too slow for a center in any event - and De Jongh is an abomination from a defense perspective, while bringing  near to nothing in attack at 13 with deficient game reading and passing skills as well..  .    

 

 Mozzie, Burger would make any Eagles team hands down. But not a Springbok side.
clevermike....is not in the top five players filling the #10 jersey. 
I do like the play of De Allende but he is wasted on the wing he is a center (#13). With Serfontein at #12 I think we will be well served by these two players.
No mention of De Villiers (not surprised) I would drop him and make Bissy the Bok captain.
